    Forever Young (Lyrics)

May God bless and keep you always,
May your wishes all come true,
May you always do for others
And let others do for you.
May you build a ladder to the stars
    And climb on every rung,
    May you stay forever young,
    Forever young, forever young,
    May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,
May you grow up to be true,
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you.
    May you always be courageous,
    Stand upright and be strong,
    May you stay forever young,
    Forever young, forever young,
    May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,
May your feet always be swift,
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.
May your heart always be joyful,
May your song always be sung,
    May you stay forever young,
    Forever young, forever young,
    May you stay forever young.

Another fine work, SC! My 5 year old granddaughter just paid us a visit and she made me feel young, and just a little out of breath! LOL!!!

Spadecaller. This was so inspiring. Thanks.

Isn't it so amazing how our imaginations stay young as our bodies age!

MY children, grandchildren, and their children are me reincarnated. As long as I have descendants, my youth is renewed with each birth.

I once told a grandson that if everyone in the world could trace their linage back far enough, everyone on earth would find that they are related to everyone else on earth.

We are all one big family. We all laugh, love, hurt, and cry. We are all human.

                  Spadecaller:

                  Very well done sir.

Made me remember being young and thinking I'd never get old. I still haven't, but my body sure has. LOL

It also took me back to those who will remain forever young. Our friends who never came back. They are still forever young in my eyes.

                  Thanks for invite.

Thanks... it's great. One frame looks very familiar... the infant sleeping over it's fathers shoulder.

It's off of one of my favorite Jazz album, Golden Slumbers: A Father's Lullaby by Norman Brown, Brian Culbertson, Rick Braun, and Dave Koz (Audio CD - 2002)

Thanks again... I did enjoy it.

It didn't seem to post... I'll try again.

One of the frames which happens to be a favorite of mine shows an infant sleeping on his/her fathers shoulder.
