Wallace eventually corrected his original question by informing McCain that the senator had actually voted 19 times to keep wages at the current level, to which McCain responded, “Well, or 29 or 49, whatever it is.”

Wallace told him how many times he voted against the minimum wage and he STILL couldn't get it right. But he says he is for the minimum wage now........

Was he drunk? I am just amazed that his 'followers' let things like this pass. It's as though they LOVE being governed by crazy people!

Is the man absolutely insane? Or just willing to say and do anything at all to get elected?

Either way, the man does not belong in any office, let alone the WH. He has proven that beyond any reasonable doubt over the last year of flip-flopping, judgment errors, policy blunders, breaking the law he wrote, and other just plain WRONG actions.

Getting Palin to be his running mate was not really a brilliant move or a disastrous one. What choice did he have, his first ten choices turned him down.

It's actually laughable to watch both of these candidates continually change their views when they find out it might get them more votes!

The minimum wage in this country is may have worked in the stone age but not in today's market. Just looking back to 1974 when I was a kid working for minimum wage I think was near $1.85/hr but keep in mind I was in High School and working Part Time at Mcdonalds. My family's rent was in the are of $48.00/month for a two bedroom apartment in NYC. Grocery shopping took a $10.00 or $20.00 bill to feed a family of four, gas was around $0/47 cents a gallon, I can go on and on. This was extra money I saved and was able to buy a brand new 1977 Pont Grant Prix off the show room floor at 17 years old.
Today where every the min wage is at is just not cutting it. Parents raising families are making not much more and current rent;s in NYC area are near $2000.00/month if your lucky and find a good area with low crime. Auto Insurance is in the thousands, Gas prices are near $4.00/gallon.
How about we pass a Min Wage Law that people can live on ????? or if this is not possible, lets' cut the wage of all government employee's to Min Wage and still they are lucky since they are not required to pay Social Security.

All the foreigh aid we spend on other countries with starving families and children is something else when this same problem is in our backyard. How many homeless do we have in America? How many families have to find food at shelters, food banks and churches? but yet we can send aid all over the world. Take this money from Washington DC. How about the CIA or FBI get pay checks of $250-300.00/week?? and use the difference for our homeless?

Charity is great but it begins at home. Seems nothing is done at home just overseas why, so we look good to the rest of the world? Why, they dislike us anyway. John McCain you are a War Hero maybe you would like a paycheck if you win as President of just a few hundred dollars? That's fair? Dont you think? and the same goes for the other party all worried about our country. The late Joe Kennedy who was a slum lord and what ever else lived his year's out like a king as does the rest of the Kennedy Tribe. NOT FAIR TO ME.

It was a wise thing for McCain to refuse Minium wage because it reall hurt the low payed people .It puts them in a higher tax bracker and also rasies prices on in grocery stores and utilities and all the things we buy .WHY? because that how it works .The place where you work has to raise their prices to pay you more money .When you get your paycheck its about the same as not getting that raise .McCain is to old to misslead anyone ,this is has last chance to help people and hes not going to screw that up .
And all you women have heard :The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Rules The world "and voting got Sarah is a giant step for women to take to really help run this country .God Knows men has done it no good .Stop being another vote for your husband and vote in new blood and yes its a woman .People are afraid that Sarah will make it come to light that all the cheating leaders are nothing but trouble and they could be exposed for their bad behavior .Women stand up and vote this women in office .Want change get a woman with Morals and energy to do what needs to be done .
