You've nailed it. I've lost total respect for McCain. With so many excellent female Republican possibilities, no to mention male ones, he comes up with Palin? This a knee-jerk solution from McCain and we've already had 8 years of this. McCain is no longer interested in doing what's right for America; he just wants to win.

If he selected her just to win he would have selected a house hold name...it took courage to select an unknown....Liberman would have brought in his people and independents but he did not.......

With almost a 90% approval rating from the State of Alaska, I think Palin was an excellent choice! Try to find another candidate with that high of a rating! Since most of us do not know much about her, I find it unfair to judge her until we learn more. I also find it refreshing to have someone not bought and paid for in the Washington circles!!

Big deal. What's 90% of a few thousand? Not a ringing endorsement, that's for sure. Most Alaskans don't even vote.

I prefer a 90% rating of over 670 thousand people given to Palin, to the 59% approval rating given to Obama by the residents of Illinois.
