Hang on, dude.

The scrutiny is coming from and is a direct result of the constantly evolving hypocrisy of the Republican Party.
They talk about Obama's lack of experience, and choose a woman who was mayor of a town of 9,000 (there are apartments in New York with over 9,000 people!) and less than two years gubernatorial experience. They castigate Obama as a nouveau celebrity and pick a former beauty queen for the number two spot on the ticket. They chant ad nauseum about Obama's alleged ties to corrupt officials and city leaders, yet wholly endorse a woman who is CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION for abuse of power, who talks a game of accountability, yet accepts funds for one of the biggest pork-barrel projects in her state.
WTF?!?-

Um, OK, so let's answer the question. Why don't the Republicans run Sarah Palin for President, if they're so interested in courting women's votes?
Reply
Because they know she could never win. Because she's so completely untried that her executive experience would lose them any support they might get from having Grampa run.
Because Republicans hate strong women who don't kowtow to men, and they can't afford to run a woman who has her own mind to make decisions.
Shall we go on?
Biden ran for president and lost gracefully. But he was elected to many terms in the Senate and has been privy to our nation's military and security secrets. As Committee Chair, he has taken lives in his hands and kept his head about him well enough to remain a normal commuting husband and father.
Palin was sucked up into the Alaska Republican regime and put into place by big oil in order to maintain the status quo.-

How WRONG you are, SHE fought BIG oil and won she also fought corruption on BOTH sides of the Aisle Republican and Democrat! That is one of the reasons She has a 86% approval rating THE highest of any Governor in the USA AND 4 times higher than the current DEMOCRAT led Congress - Which is the lowest rating in history and even much lower Than GWB!

BJ clinton had executive experience too, not that it is a good example either! Ronald Regan - a Good example of Executive experience though! GWB History will tell - we are too close to the action to judge. Only President to have lower in office ratings than GWB was Harry S. Truman who was also embroiled in a unpopular war- Latter was rated as high as 4th best President ever!

The whole population of Alaska is about 600,000. That's only about 20% the size of Chicago. She has a $6 million dollar budget. Wow, that's quite an executive experience. Executive?

Palin is also a bookburner. She talked to the local librarian about removing books from the town she was mayor of -- books she found offensive.
The whole point of Palin is to use her as a flash point to get the republican base, lukewarm on McCain, to vote. The greater the controversy, the more the strategy will work. It's more likely the GOP are causing the controversy themselves.
