Morgan City has reported 100 percent lost of electrical services, water & sewerage services. Electrical service is expected to be down for 1 week. No hospital service.

    it's bad enough losing power for 24 hours - i can't even imagine not having any for 1 week!!

      I just read they will be without running water for about 4 days!! Feel bad for anyone who didn't leave.....

          I was in SC and without electricity for several days following Hurricane Hugo. That was bad, but at least we still had water. I can't imagine trying to take care of kids without running water. It's a real mess. I feel for the folks in Morgan City and elsewhere in the Gulf Coast.
