Wow. What's wrong with this guy - is he short a chromosome, or does he have one too many? The offspring of siblings? Is his brain in backwards? Does he eat with his ass? This guy has something serious malfunctioning between the eyes and ears.
Trust me, the Jewish population is more aware of the fact that Jeezuz and his clan were jewish than this banjo-boy yokel will ever be.-

Listen to the Liberals coming apart at the seams. They pick up phrases and go bonkers and not understand what is really going on. With Wright there was 20 years of sermons that talked about he believed and those snippets were right in line with what he taught. This man was not part of the church and was discussing that most of you non Christians do not understand. In this case a Jew was discussing the possibility that the terrorist activity was part of the prophesied judgment that the Jews will undergo until they turn to God in the last days. In case you don't understand it he was talking eschatology. So why don't you foolish people go to the relevant portions of prophecy and tell him where he is wrong.

Of course Natureboy can ask those questions about himself since he is arguing in absolute ignorance.

The person who gave this sermon was: 1.)not her pastor, but a guest speaker; 2.)Is Jewish himself. Lastly, as a biblical scholar, I think "judgement" was a poor choice of words. In the bible, there is a difference between "judgement" and "chastisement". "Judgement" is the just condemnation of a rebellious individual or nation; whereas "Chastisement" is reserved between the loving father and child relationship. The loving Father chastens his disobedient child to get him on the right track (see Revelation 3:19). We all deserve God's judgement, but our punishment was willingly absorbed by Jesus (who was Himself a Jew), the perfect, sinless, only begotten Son of God. If we receive Him, we'll never face judgement.

You think this statement makes his statement look any better? Seriously?

There are plenty of Biblical 'scholars' out there who spread hatred through imposing their own views on scripture without doing HCM Exegesis and research on the original language.
He is not, according to most Jews, a Jew. He is a member of the cult "Jews for Jesus." Jews can't be for Jesus as Jews do not believe Jesus was the Davidic Messiah spoken of in their scripture. Or at least they can't be for him as 'the Messiah.' They can think he's a pretty great guy, though.
If Palin didn't agree with this man's hateful speech, she shouldn't have listened. She should have stood up and left or spoken outwardly against him. Any church where you cannot voice your disagreement or freely walk out in protest isn't a Church of God.
Keep in mind, also, that this is the SECOND time she's heard him talk. -

It's also of notable mention that organizations like Jews For Jesus (to which the guest speaker belongs) and Wassila Bible Church (to the contrary of being anti-semetic) are pro-Israel politically, financially, and socially. And, in respectful response to Natureboy, due to the cultural "europeanization" of Christianity, the Jewish people are rarely exposed to the true, historical Jewish "Yeshua Ha Moshiach" (Jesus Christ in Hebrew).

Many of the sermons are being changed and edited as we type. I encourage all of you to save these things on your hard disk if you want to keep the original copy.

Since this morning, multiple videos, sermons and audio recordings of sermons she's attended and speeches she has given have disappeared.
I guess you can expect this from the GOP that 'lost' millions of emails all centering around times requested for investigations.

I take it she thinks Jews CHICKENS...comin home...to ROOST!!! If she really thinks this, it's pretty much a toss up between Obama and McCain. Then again, a LOT of Obama supporters are anti-Israel and pro-terrorist, it seems, so, she might get McCain some votes,

Bush/Cheney/McCain/Palin supporters are anti American, ultra conservative, religious f....s who will take our country back into the dark ages where children were home schooled, women didn't have any rights and were barefoot and pregnant, homes were not needed because people lived in huts, science was a abstract concept which it still if for the likes of Palin.

You think this guy might visit McCain's hero preacher John Hagee? I've heard several of his Sermons and also watched his rally of United Christians for Israel. I wasn't sure what I was watching, a rousing condemnation of Christianity or a mass conversion to Judaism.
Reply
In that rally Hagee said there is only two ways to live, The Torah way and the wrong way! All you Religious Right people ( spell that Republican Base ) are you listening? -

It amazes me how far off topic some voters allow themselves to be dragged! All this is pure bull s hit!

It matters not what was said in her church, it matters not what was said in Obama's church, the pregnancy of her daughter, the birth of her last child, all this is pure ignorance.
Each side has gotten to the point that they will do or say anything to discredit the other side.
Release of SS numbers, tampering with ballots, vote rigging, the list goes on!
What have we become as a society?
Why not discuss real issues?
Why not bring up real problems in the world, and ideas on how to solve them?
I am getting so fed up with the juvenile attitude coming from both sides of the isle that I seldom leave a comment, because there is seldom anything intelligent to respond to!-

If the politicians brought up real issues we would get rid of them and they know it. Shame on us for not demanding more of them. They treat us like fools because we are fools. Shame on them for being craven opportunists who talk out of both sides of their mouths, spouting patriotic bullshiit, when they are in it only for themselves.

"She is against reproductive freedom."
Reply
What kind of wording is this? Is she anti-condom? no. Is she for forceable rape? no. Is she against public tax dollar funded killing of an unborn child? yes. Roe vs. Wade is bad law and it is here to stay. Keep it legal, keep it a choice, and keep it quiet. Logic can not be used to define life, rather it should be determined by whether it is wanted or not. Sound a bit odd? Logic train leaving on track 2, get on board!
Think through this issue quietly and alone. What sounds honest and consistent?
Pregnant woman shot in abdomin in liquor store robbery loses unborn thing. Suspect charged with murder. Because it was wanted, it is life. Make sense? Don't knee jerk on your answer. Slow down and verbalize to this woman that it was never life. Choose your words carefully and watch her try to understand your explanation.-

I would rather have my tax payer dollars fund sex education (some parents teach it, some don't; it still needs to be taught), parenting classes, birth control, abortion and a safe way for those to give up their children without repercussions (not everyone who has a child is glad they're a parent and treats them well. Some who are parents never wanted to be a parent to begin with AND SHOULDN'T be forced to be one.) than jail time because a parent abused their child or worse.

She is anti condom. When you can't buy condoms if under 18 and condoms and other birth control is unavailable to teenagers, you can expect more unwanted pregnancy. This just shows that abstinence only education is an utter failure. I would rather pay for a condom than an abortion or an unwanted baby.

Slate, you guys are about to get steamrolled by our backlash. We've had enough lies, innuendo and b.s.
Reply
I think you are decent guy personally, but you really **** me off when you imply we (Democrats) are all motivated by the same things. Are Republicans as completely monolithic as you paint Democrats?
You can fool yourself into thinking we are like you in that regard but you are wrong. That is our strength by the way. It is why we will win in November. The Republican Party managed to unite us in opposition to you. I guess I should thank you for that....
