I have a lot of respect for Ron Paul. His views are far too right leaning for my taste, but I love his stamina and dogged tenacity. The way he's continued to this point, despite the refusal of the RNC to recognize him is gratifying to see. He's run a campaign reminiscent of days gone by when anyone with votes to get there could run on equal ground. The days prior to party and partisan politicking at its worst. And look at him.....drawing 15,000 people, none of whom were compulsory delegates. I wonder how those numbers stack up to the voluntary attendees at the RNC event for McCain. It sounds like he's certainly given them a run for their money. And wouldn't it be ironic if more people voluntarily came to see Ron Paul speak instead of McCain? I love it. Again, he's not one I would want to vote for, but I gotta love him. He's brought back a race we should fight to keep, not fight to hide from the public.
