In related news: Russia, in an attempt to appear less aggressive, has changed its name to "Fluffyland"
In the future, please refer to it as such, as in "Fluffyland may indeed attack the Ukraine", or, "Fluffyland is a clear and present danger."

I'd like to say that if you're not scared absolutely snotless by Flufflyland you're not paying close enough attention.

Well, I've been watching the stationery stores.

There seems to a large run on maps and erasers. People are actually erasing their borders with Russia. They are penciling in USA.

Bush is loving it. He said he'd show Putin.

Hmmmmm? Does that make Bush the president of Russia now?

We could only hope. With his screwed up ways he'd have them bankrupt in months. LOL

Did I just see in the Enquirer that the Fluffyland Parliament has declared its national symbol to be Tigger?

We could relocate people from the country of Georgia to places like Atlanta. That way they could at least truthfully still call themselves Georgians. There's a slight problem to doing that for Azerbaijan.

"Rice later pledged financial aid to the victims of devastating flooding in the West African nation of Togo, effective upon the country first meeting the stipulation of removing itself from under water."
That Rice is one tough philanthropist!

all funning aside, russia has become scarier than anytime since the early 1990s. how much of this is due to the bush administration's "bring it on" foreign policy, how much of it is oil and how much of it is just the "Borg" declaring "we're back", i don't know.

i do know that this is a very serious issue, especially for the former soviet "republics", most of which have been struggling for 16 years to establish their identities their political and economic policies and to stabilize their borders with a much larger and aggressive country.
