Perhaps this discovery is the beginning of our initial and deeper knowledge of the hundreds of references in the Book of Mormon to ancient cities, civilizations and battlegrounds in this hemisphere, the existence or evidence of any of which has never heretofore been verified by science.

Perhaps Mr. Smith simply had his continents wrong (he wrote "North America" when he should have written "SOUTH America..................")
