Here's a great little description of exactly what it was that Giuliani and Palin were mocking:

If you think having babies, one after the other, neglecting them while persuing your ambitions, is qualification for president, you probably are a republican shill. If you think smoking dope while becoming a extremist evangelical right wing moron is qualification for president, you are a republican shill, incapable of thinking for yourself

It never fails to stun and amuse me how quickly those on the left sink to comfortably insulting people by commenting negatively on their race, gender, gender identity or economic status.
Reply
Governor Palin has been insulted because she chooses to have her career as well as a family. Should Obama drop out of the race because his children need him? Their still at home and THEIR mom works (or did until the campaign).
She has been insulted because of her education. Now, anyone who has anything to do with college applications knows that, when it comes to the Ivies, if your grades and SAT's are at a certain level (say, 1590 and 4.48 out or 4.5) it doesn't guarantee you admission, even if you are, say class valedictorian. My niece, a recent graduate of MIT, had these scores and didn't get accepted to any of the Ivies. I don't know what Ms. Palin's scores were, but then again, neither do you. To get into an Ivy, you need an edge -- being a minority (but not Asian) helps, having a special talent helps --but sports more than musical or artistic talent, having a parent who attended helps, but is still not a lock. Besides these other things you need a whole pile of luck.
With the comments about how many kids she has and how substandard her education is, comes the implication (and I haven't heard it said explicitly, but I'm sure it's coming) that she is trailer trash. Now, for democrats to use that as an insult -- whether explicitly or implicitly -- is truly a hoot as they always claim to be for the downtrodden and the poor and working class.
Apparently, they want to lord it over the poor and working class, who after all are ignorant fools churning out babies and need their guidance. It's painfully obvious from their rhetoric against Gov. Palin (as well as Obama's 'clinging to their religion and guns' gaffe) that they have absolutely no respect for those they claim to be the party of.
and they wonder why they are called elitist...

If you think that being in a marriage, having children and taking care of those children are the sole responsibility of the wife, then you must be a male chauvinist who still lives in his mother's basement. If YOU think we republican's cannot think for ourselves, then you need to smoke some more dope, follow your evangelical, terriorist supporting, loves his "God D*mn" American Pastor annoited fool straight to hell. And please have a pleasant trip!

Yes, this is the project that Obama was involved in with the guy he said was "just a neighbor"--the anarchist Bill Ayers. The project was a failure. Obama has some explaining to do on this one, but of course, the mainstream media has been giving him a pass.

This is all the LIBERALS can do. Ever since Palin became the V.P.nominee, the press has been after her. You have not named one thing Obama has done. And don't use the LORD'S name. It won't save his rear. BIDEN doesn't even know that our next V.P. is a Governor. Who has the experience?

Fact Check of Governor Palin's Speech
....
PALIN: "It was the spirit that brought me to the governor's office, when I took on the old politics as usual in Juneau … when I stood up to the special interests, the lobbyists, big oil companies, and the good-ol' boys network."
REALITY: PALIN HAS A LT. GOVERNOR WHO IS A FORMER OIL LOBBYIST, HIRED WASILLA'S FIRST FEDERAL LOBBYIST (A FORMER STEVENS STAFFER) & HAD THE SUPPORT OF ENTRENCHED ALASKA POLITICIANS DURING HER 2006 RACE.
Palin's Oil & Gas Appointee Is Former Lobbyist for TransCanada. "Marty Rutherford, who leads Gov. Sarah Palin's gas pipeline team, made $40,200 in 2003 while consulting in Juneau for a pipeline subsidiary of TransCanada. TransCanada is one of the companies bidding for a state license to build a pipeline to carry gas to market from Alaska's North Slope. It's not a disqualifier, but the past connection deserves a second thought." [Anchorage Daily News editorial, 12/15/07]
Palin "Counting on Her Lieutenant Governor Candidate… Former Oil Lobbyist" to Help Win Oil Industry Support. "The defiantly grass-roots nature of the campaign may have distanced her from certain traditional centers of power in Alaska. The oil industry is one -- but the campaign says it is counting on her lieutenant governor candidate, Parnell, a former oil lobbyist and legislator, to help there." [Anchorage Daily News, 10/24/06]
Palin's Former Chief of Staff is Stevens' Campaign Manager. "Monegan says pressure came from those around Palin, including former Palin chief-of-staff Mike Tibbles, Department of Administration Commissioner Annette Kreitzer, and director of boards and commissions Frank Bailey. Tibbles, who is now the campaign manager for Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, said Friday he couldn't comment on whether he spoke to Monegan about Wooten." [Anchorage Daily, 7/19/08]-

As Mayor, Palin Hired a Washington Lobbyist to Help Get Earmarks for Wasilla – Lobbyist Was Former Chief of Staff for Indicted Senator Ted Stevens. "And as mayor of the small town of Wasilla from 1996 to 2002, Palin also hired a Washington lobbying firm that helped secure $8 million in congressionally directed spending projects, known as earmarks, according to public spending records compiled by the watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste and lobbying documents. Wasilla's lobbying firm was headed by Steven Silver — a former chief of staff to Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, a key proponent of the bridge project." [USA Today, 8/31/08]

The Usual Alaska Suspects - Ted Stevens, Don Young, And Lisa Murkowski Fundraised For Palin. "Will we see Ted Stevens stumping for Sarah Palin? Palin said this morning that Stevens appeared at a fund-raiser for her in Ketchikan and gave a speech about 'moving Alaska forward.' But does that mean he'll pop up in any advertisements? (Remember his arguably pivotal role at the end of the Knowles and Murkowski Senate race?) Palin said she doubts it and hasn't asked… She said Don Young came to one of her fund-raisers two days ago, and she expects Lisa Murkowski at an upcoming event. Tonight she planned to talk with John Binkley, who she says is writing a letter to his supporters on her behalf, and she planned to meet with Frank Murkowski tomorrow morning." ["The Trail" blog, Anchorage Daily News, 10/13/06]
In Her 2002 Campaign for Lieutenant Governor, Palin Raised 'About 10 Percent Of Her Campaign Fund' From Veco, An Oil Company At the Heart of Federal Investigation. "While mayor of Wasilla, Palin ran for lieutenant governor in 2002. She gathered $5,000 -- or about 10 percent of her campaign fund -- from Veco officials or their wives along the way." Here's a joke. Being the Mayor of Wasilla Alaska, a Town with a population of approximately 7,000. There are High schools in NYC with not much less than that. So i guess Sarah Palin is qualified to be a NYC school principal. She's a joke and so is her party. Alaska has about half the population of the Bronx so that means that Mike Bloomberg could easily become master of the UNIVERSE using that as a comparison.

The responsibilities of being mayor of a town of 5,000 were so great that Palin had to hire a city administrator to run her town for her. That begs the question: Who is running Alaska?-

The largest state in the union? well, physically, yes, but Alaska ranks 47 out of 52 in population. The population of the most populous state, California, is 36,553,215. The population of Alaska is 683,478. Alaska has approximately 2% of the population of California (rounding up), so, to say it's the largest state is a bit disingenuous.

Fundamentalists like Palin all have some sexual secrets that motivates them to crow about how wonderful they are, like Haggarty, preaching against gay marriage while getting sodomized while smoking crack by a gay prosititute.
Palin was having affairs, her last downs baby is not from her husband. She was smoking pot and neglecting her kids while they were smoking pot and getting pregers.-

Today he published a chart arguing that part of what was driving the scrutiny of Sarah Palin is "anti-Republican liberal media bias," and he then went on Joe Scarborough's MSNBC show this morning to make the same claim:
There are three bad reasons [for the "frenzy" against Palin]. One is the liberal press. I think the McCain campaign is right that people are going after her harder than they would go after a Democratic Vice Presidential nominee.
who:
JOE BIDEN: PATHOLOGICAL LIAR AND FRAUD: It was also discovered that, while at Syracuse Law School, Biden had plagiarized a law review article in a class paper he wrote.
Biden said the act was inadvertent due to his not knowing the proper rules of citation, and Biden was permitted to retake the course after receiving a grade of F in the course.
Biden also released at the same time the record of his grades as an undergraduate which were C's and D's and an F in ROTC during his first three semesters.
Further, when questioned by a New Hampshire resident about his grades in law school Biden had claimed falsely to have graduated in the "top half" of his class, (when he actually graduated 76th in a class of 85

Communities are not destroyed by parties, but by individuals. If Welfare Reform is bad, why is it wrong to teach someone respect for themselves instead of having government give them a free ride? The problem with the Democrats is they believe free rides mean more votes. COUNTRY FIRST.

Nobody is mocking community organizers in church basements and community centers across the country working to improve their neighbors' lives. What deserves ridicule is the notion that Obama's brief stint as a South Side rabble-rouser for tax-subsidized, partisan nonprofits qualifies as executive experience you can believe in.
Reply
What deserves derision is "community organizing" that relies on a community of homeless people and ex-cons to organize for the purpose of registering dead people to vote, shaking down corporations and using the race card as a bludgeon. -- Michelle Malkin-

that was what he did when he finished Harvard...you arrogant little monster...he has never stated that his 3 years of work when he was just out of college qualifies him to be President...how ignorant are you, or how ignorant do you perceive Americans to be...you seem to leave out his position of editor of THE Harvard Law Review, I think Sarah Palin has a BA in journalism with high hopes to be on ESPN...noble indeed...he did the 3 years helping poor people in the slums of Chicago when he could have been making a mint, helping mostly people who had been laid of from the local steel plant. Obviously then going on to become State Senator for 7 years in 1997, he was in elected office before Hillary was..I think Palin had just won In Wassila with a whopping 650 votes for mayor. Then he became a US senator where he been for almost 3 years, where contrary to republicans passed BIPARTISAN legislation dealing with ethics reform, nuclear nonproliferation, veterans health care, transparency in govt contracts, children s health care, various educational issues, and much more, a simple google search will enlighten any republican of his accomplishments. Sarah palin is an empty skirt, a puppet a joke really, Sen. Barack Obama on the other hand is someone I feel has my best interests in mind and has the intelligence, and the judgment to properly navigate the times and make improvements on American governmental systems and ultimately American's lives, I trust his to create jobs, and improve world standing and security, I think McCain is too reckless and ideological and too ambitious with too many "scores" to settle to get anything meaningful done, especially now with Palin.

GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!! She was the mayor of a SMALL town. Wasilla's population was only about 9000 if that while she was mayor and she only had a 6 person city council. Alaska is the largest state ONLY by land mass - POPULATION wise California is the largest state! So, basically, she is governor of a state with lots of acreage, not, people!

By THE CRIMSON STAFF
As Harvard College continues to flounder in the mires of grade inflation, we applaud the Law School for setting stricter limits on the number of students who graduate with honors.
Currently, 70 percent of graduating law students achieve the minimum grade point average to receive a cu*m laude degree. With that ridiculous fact staring them in the face, Law School faculty members overwhelmingly voted to bestow honors upon only 40 percent of the graduating class.
***********************
Using a competitive process that takes into account first-year grades, an editing exercise, and a written commentary on a court decision, The Harvard Law Review selects between 41 and 43 editors annually from the second-year Law School class, which numbers 560.
Two editors from each of first-year class's seven sections (fourteen in all) are selected half by their first year grades and half by their scores on the writing competition.
Another twenty are selected solely on their scores on the writing competition. The other seven to nine are selected by a discretionary committee, either to fulfill the review's race-based affirmative action program, to select students who just missed the cut by either of the other two processes, or by some other criteria as the committee sees fit.
**********
Until the 1970's the editors were picked on the basis of grades, and the president of the Law Review was the student with the highest academic rank. (for those of you who don't know that is Summa cu*m laud, top 10%)
That system came under attack in the 1970's and was replaced by a program in which about half the editors are chosen for their grades and the other half are chosen by fellow students after a special writing competition.
The new system, disputed when it began, was meant to help insure that minority students became editors of The Law Review.
