Comments for Obama Camp: Palin’s Speech was Written by Bush’s Speechwriter »
Posted By capj71 1 year, 3 months ago in NewsWhile Republicans are busy trying to spin Sarah Palin’s fluff VP acceptance speech as proof that she is ready to lead, the campaign of Barack Obama put out a statement that called her speech well delivered, but the same old song and dance that we have been hearing for eight years.

Is it me, or did that Bush speech blaming the nations ills on "angry liberals" seem way too Orwellian to be a coincidence (Big brother on a 80 ft screen- war is peace ...lockstep zombies). AGHH!

As for Palin, well here is the game plan folks...the same nonsense that they trot out every election- the invented culture war. The "angry tax and spend left" wants you to take your guns away, make you gay, and have abortions in your house of worship.
It works every time. But here is reality-
in the last 60 years who had the better fiscal record? Hint- not the GOP.
Economic growth is markedly improved under democratic administrations.
You see, tax and spend is a great slogan but where is the evidence? More than 60 years ago.
The only balanced budget in 60 years was submitted by a Democrat- Bill Clinton.
Reagan doubled the national debt, spending as much as all presidents before him combined. Where would this money come from if not taxes? Look at the incalculable historically large deficit spending Bush charged to you? Where will that come from if not taxes? And what was it spent on? Something to keep Americans healthy? Something to improve our infrastructure, our education? No, it is wasted in a mad scheme to prop up a puppet walmartocracy in the middle east, and since this will not be happening, the money is simply wasted.
Not all that many democrats are big on gun control, but those who are usually represent people who live in cities where violent crime is a problem. The idea that Philadelphia might want to place a restriction on guns within it's city limits (remember Wyatt Earp did this in Kansas City as the Marshall and he wasn't a "pinko gay liberal" right? in fact he ran for sheriff as a republican ironically) poses no threat to sportsmen. (there are no moose in Phila.)
This is a BS issue. Democrats value the 2nd amendment.
Gays? Well folks our founding fathers were awfully smart and they proclaimed that all men were created equal and had the inalienable right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Nowhere did they say "except gays". This is a simple human rights issue, you can still dislike anyone you choose and nothing changes in your life if gays are given the same basic civil liberties you enjoy. How are you possibly harmed by this?
God, well believe it or not God has nothing to do with politics people. The idea that a supreme being needs political spokesmen to function, or condones killing , torture, or favors rich powerful people is absurd at best. There are just as many religious people on both sides of the aisle. And incidentally Karl Rove, who manipulated the "religious right" into voting for Bush
is an atheist himself.-

Did he say anything about unscripted? He said Obama wrote it. That's not unscripted.

Perhaps if you concentrated on reading what others write, instead of trying to figure out what kind of insult you should throw at them, you would actually find out what they mean.

She READ it right off the TELEPROMPTERS, just like every other person at the convention. If you watched the shots from behind, you could see the words she was speaking (written by BushCo) appearing on the teleprompter glass.

I did not hear anything about these issues we are facing:
Reply
. $ at all time low
. foreclosures killing communities and families
. job losses and lay offs huring bread winners
. gas prices at all time high
. food prices out of control
, $trillions owed to China in borrowings. How to pay off?
. $billions in surplus in 2000 is now $trillion in deficits. Who will fix it?
. Iraq invasion, destruction and occupation was ordered by GOD.
All I heard was that Obama is not qualified because he was just a community organizer helping people who had lost their jobs and a US senator.-

Nor will you hear much about them, I'm afraid. One of the McCain advisers explained it very clearly on CNN (I heard it with my own two ears) that people don't base their votes on issues but on "character." So there. You'll just have to make a decision on who has the best character, and you'll be set. No need to worry you pretty little head about issues. Those will take care of themselves in the fullness of time.

The handlers and the spin doctors are out in force by the DNC.

#1 rule: Do everything in your power to link McCain to Bush so that all the Bush-Hatred carefully cultivated for many years by the DNC can be put to good use...
Hey, I know, let's start a web site called "justmoreofthesame.com" and drive home all of the DNC propaganda to its base?! BRILLIANT!!!
Oh and the whole thing about a "well-delivered speech" from the Obama camp. LMAO!!! That's all Obama has done so far...deliver nice speeches that don't tell us much of anything. Well, his acceptance speech, someone must have said step it up a bit...unfortunately instead of coming across as impassioned, he came across as shrill and strident.

Not much to do there. He's done a pretty good job of that himself.

Well, at least it's out in the open, so anyone can dispute what's there, unlike the anonymous emails that spread like viruses about Obama.
