Does Palin and the fired trooper in Alaska have anything to do with your post? Or are you just another uneducated redneck who is upset because the facts are against you. -

What a surprise...The people who brought us a President who spies on Quakers are more interested in small fry like the mayor of Detroit than one of the GOP's many criminal friends to oil barons--Ted Stevens, the Senator from Alaska (who is currently the longest serving Republican in Congress). Stevens who is currently on trial for criminal behavior involving far more money than that of another of the cons' favorite whipping posts (William "cold cash" Jefferson--what's with cons' preoccupation with black criminals, btw? anyone know? could this be one of the many reasons the GOP can't attract black people to their party?) but what are we hearing from cons on Stevens? What are cons saying this suggests about the GOP's relationship with Big Oil and their desperation to drill at any cost? We're hearing DEAD SILENCE from hypocrite cons. What a shocker. ;-(

Unfortunately, you don't know what you are talking about only relying on the media for your negative opinions. I am from the State of Michigan and I am appalled that McCainis riding on an airplane furnished by a Republican lobbyist and you indicate that you are viewing change and reform from the Republicans while the American deficit is growing!

LOL...your problem is that Senator McCain has created an unbeatable team and the nastier you get, the more solidly our party is behind her. Conservatives won the elections the last two Presidential elections and they will this time too. Dem/Libbers are so upset about Ms. Palin that they are going to try and gang up on her from three different infanticide organizations. They've announced that they want to defeat her because of her stance on life instead of the murdering of infants. She had her baby despite the fact that he has down syndrome and to make matters worse for your party, her daughter is pregnant and she's going to have her baby too....oh my God...what awful role models for the Dem/lib party.

My problem is that the republicons don't seem to believe in the rule of law. Everywhere you look, there is a republicon breaking a law. If you support the republicon outlaws, then you don't believe in the rule of law.

Yea right. So that's how seal records of Ryan's divorce case was magically available to the Trib and made it possible for Barry to get into the Senate in the first place. Until then, he was losing the election by a factory of almost 75%. Unless you don't consider the Daley machine a part of your DNC.

No, they just have a better record of simply denying everything and closing ranks. For instance, Bill Clinton and his indiscretions. He got away with it, just as most Dem/libbers do. Dem/libbers have a record of corruption that goes back years and years....lol. Oh my goodness....I'm arguing with a child.

Both party have frightening statistics. But you can't blame a candidate for who has supported them. They would have no supporters. This country, last time I looked, is full of felons from every walk of life, and millions who haven't been caught. Is the candidate a felon or suspected of a crime. That's my concern.

What an incredible effort to discredit Sarah, perhaps the worst character assassination attempt I have ever seen.
Reply
This is a 50-50 country and the election will be close. She plays well in every part of the country because she is more like us than is Obama, Joe or even John.
White men support McCain and Sarah substantially improves Republican chances for the female vote, particularly among the so-called middle class.
Washington secretly does not want to change and the procedures are so ingrained, I don't think any executive can change it. Money talks ... and that will never change.
The issues bandied about by both sides are legislative issues controlled by the Congress. The President has the "bully-pulpit" and great influence, but ultimately Congress controls us.
They control the spending and the taxing.-

Sounds like you know her intimately. Anyway, that's the problem...your values aren't my values. Im every bit as American as you are and I think Republicans and conservatives are extremely dangerous and reckless people to have running our country. Cons have made this woman you don't even know out to be some kind of icon for the con movement and you're behaving the same way you did when Republicans chose McCain. You're so desperate for a win that you'll re-write the script for political expediency.
Flipflopping was the kiss of death in '04 so you re-packaged that lie and this year (since everyone knows you're now doing it left and right) it's called "re-thinking one's position". Yeah, that sounds good...let's go with that. They'll never catch on. You wanted a President you could be proud of and who wouldn't bring shame and dishonor to the Oval Office. You gave us Bush and cons are the ONLY people on the planet who will deny to their dying breath that Bush is a liar, a loser, a criminal, a failure and an absolute disgrace to our country. When Hillary played the sexism card, cons went BALLISTIC attacking her and accusing her of being weak, not ready for the job, blah blah. Palin does this and you circle the wagons and fawn on endlessly about how evil the media is to her. Gee...What a shock.
But the reason I object to Palin as a choice actually has less to do with my doubts about her qualifications than it has to do with the clearly thoughtless manner in which she was chosen and the way she's allowing herself to be used and exploited. Only a con would be so arrogant as to think that you could pick an OBVIOUSLY blemished candidate like Palin (I know the GOP is corrupt but you couldn't find ANY other suitable women to pimp who weren't already being investigated?) and pass her off as the greatest thing since sliced bread. I don't have any respect for her ( just as I don't have any respect for Condi Rice) because the mere fact that she was selected ("Sure, John...I'm honored to be your sloppy thirds, fourths... [or whatever number she was on his list] I've got a vagina and a shotgun and I know how to use 'em both. As much as the condumbs hate you, they'll love me. Where do I sign?") doesn't mean this is a win for women. ;-(

Considering the amount and accuracy of ALL the so-called scandals, I would put this at that same level
ZERO ya got nothing.
I have no idea if this claim it true but let’s take a look at this 1st paragraph.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the boss, the head personnel director of ALL Alaska’s public employees, looked into one of her employees personnel file.
Put it another way your claiming the head of the HR office looked into HR files.
Is that about it?
BTW the policy that Gov. Palin wanted enforced, and is at the root of all this so-call scandal, was to fire cops who were drinking on the job! In uniform, on the clock and in their patrol cars.
Make your best case that this policy should be ignored.
This should be a hoot! -

You're a dumb ass. How socialistic communists are millionaires? At least dude has a plan that's his own and not that of some other dumb ass. Hell, I'm past 40 and I have a freakin brain. I'm not a socialist, but I am for healthcare reform, infrastructure reform, fixing social security, allowing women the right to do what they want with their bodies, developing domestic energy sources, free trade that allows American companies to keep jobs here at home, a fair tax code where everyone pays their fair share (there's something wrong with the current one, where a dude worth 62 bil says he pays less taxes than one of his employees that make 50 grand). What I'm against is the crazy religious right forcing what they believe down my throat and that of my family members. Obama is right. The only issue you people have are guns, religion war and no taxes

He's a cop that has been charged with threatening his ex-wife's family, tazering his son and then getting caught passed out, drunk and in his squad car while on duty. The engine was on at the time. In Wisconsin if you're busted for that, you sit in jail, lose the license for 6 months and go to classes. In Alaska, a wall of blue comes down and you might get a 5 day suspension with pay. Corruption? Call yourselves the DNC of Alaska.

The choice in this election is very simple.
Reply
McCain - less government programs, cheaper gas and oil, lower taxes, anti-abortion(Roe v Wade will never be over turned, so this should be a non-issue, the Republicans have lost many elections over this stupid issue), military experience, is a moderate and has worked well with democrats in the past.
Obama- provide government health care, higher taxes on business and the wealthy, conserve instead of more drilling, pro-choice
If you make less than $40,000 and you want the government to take care of you than Obama's your guy.-

sprytling10 months ago
On the contrary...Roe v. Wade has been being whittled down little by little by little. Why do you think the Dem/libs have gone to such lengths to try and block any Conservative nominees for the Supreme Court? Why do you think they are so hysterical about winning this election. They have to preserve what they see as their right to murder their own children and to encourage ours to do the same.

But didn't the GOP give us the biggest government in history and plunge us into two wars and the deepest national debt and trade deficits in history too? I think they did. And didn't McCain vote with Bush at least 95% of the time? I think that happened also. So by what logic are you convinced McCain will be an improvement on Bush? Please explain. I want to understand cons but you say lots of things that make no logical sense whatosever...unless maybe it's logic in the Twilight Zone. ;-(

What happened to the Dem/Lib mantra regarding equality? Well, we already know that's a lie now don't we...we watched you dump Hillary didn't we?

lol...you dem/libs are so funny. You just can't stand that old Obama didn't even get a little bounce in the polls after his nomination. All John did was take a ticket from the Dem/Lib book...he built the drama and then he announced someone who hasn't ever been to Washington. A woman in the whitehouse, and a conservative at that. Your party is still divided against itself and John took a step to unite us. Looks like the Grand Old Party is in pretty good shape.

As usual you cons miss the boat. She's being criticized because cons are painting her as Miss Con-geniality with a rifle and she's just a second rate beauty pageant contestant who lives in a big state, with a lot of money and not that many people. Cons are constantly lowering the bar for themselves while raising it for others. No way in hell you people would approve of Obama as a role model if you thought either he or his wife sucked as parents but you're falling all over yourselves in bliss and relief that Palin is not a liberal like you know McCain is. You people wanted to string Bill Clinton up but you had at least two adulterers in your primaries and you even wanted to draft Newt Gingrich! What on earth makes you think people believe *you* are serious about morality when you relax your standards when it serves your interests? Briscoe or Crisco or whatever she's called probably wouldn't be the first teen tramp to live in the vice President's mansion and I think the boozed up trollop Bush twins actually lived in the White House for a time.

I'm not one to judge anybody else. Btw, whatever happened to that doubly "immoral" lesbian Mary Cheney who had a baby even those she's not married and even though we all know women who love other women are evil and dangerous and do not make good role models for children? What would Sarah say to her as they were changing the guards in January? Would she congratulate Lynne on raising such a wonderful, moral daughter? What would Lynne say? "Brisket is a skank with the morals of an alleycat but at least she likes trouser trout"? Come on, folks! This is a nightmare choice in every conceivable way. The point is, we haven't seen or heard much of Mary since she was so outraged by being reminded her father is a lying hypocrite who lives to destroy the lives of gays and lesbians everywhere? Anyone know, where proud Mary is? -

That's why she had to recently hire an attorney! She knows that the true will come out and redirect her comments about her being a reformer. This woman is not fit for office, she's inexperience and McCain is senile - he's redirected his campaign platform towards the Democratic campaign - which is change! It just shows that the RNC does not have a mission statement of their own and can not function independent without grasping hold of ideas from the DNC.

Ms. Palin has more experience than Obama, but then she isn't attempting to run for President just yet. And as far as Mr. McCain, he didn't appear in the slightest bit senile last night and he hasn't been told he couldn't do his job in the Senate, and he actually does his job in the Senate. Why are we paying Obama? 143 whole days and absent from any committee meetings of the Committee regarding Afghanistan...of which he supposedly is chair...which has never had even one meeting.

I think it's funny reading comments from uneducated dems! All you hear is neocon this and that. They all read from the same play book. The Dem party has no platform or substance! All they have is a slogan. "Change". Obama isn't about change. If he was he wouldn't have picked a fossil like Biden. Higher taxes, bigger government and a weak country. There's your change. Question: When Obama taxes the big evil oil companies for making too much money, Who do you think is going to pay that tax?
