What a surprise...The people who brought us a President who spies on Quakers are more interested in small fry like the mayor of Detroit than one of the GOP's many criminal friends to oil barons--Ted Stevens, the Senator from Alaska (who is currently the longest serving Republican in Congress). Stevens who is currently on trial for criminal behavior involving far more money than that of another of the cons' favorite whipping posts (William "cold cash" Jefferson--what's with cons' preoccupation with black criminals, btw? anyone know? could this be one of the many reasons the GOP can't attract black people to their party?) but what are we hearing from cons on Stevens? What are cons saying this suggests about the GOP's relationship with Big Oil and their desperation to drill at any cost? We're hearing DEAD SILENCE from hypocrite cons. What a shocker. ;-(

I see. We should be excusing a dem mayor who steals a million dollars and lies about sex a pass. But it's okay to totally denigrate a little girl who is carrying an unborn child, because her mom is running for office and she doesn't happen to be a dem...right? Typical dem/lib philosophy. mesodude, had it occurred to you that we republican/conservatives might not want criminals in our party? We believe that there are a whole lot of opportunities in this country. We believe that those opportunities exist for black people as well as white. The funny thing is that there are great many black people in the Republican party, and as those opportunitie are found and as Black people begin owning their homes and wanting not to pay higher taxes for do nothing complainers, we seem to be collecting a whole lot more minorities. Go figure!

Well, I think perhaps you might be speaking about a different element than I am. Yes, there are a number of black people who think they are much smarter than the rest of us. They don't have to worry about the cost of heating oil, or whether or not they keep their house. They can simply assist in creating a communist society to buy their house for them, pay for their medical, buy their groceries, pay for their educations.

Most Americans have to do those things by working. We don't have the luxury of playing helpless and demanding the someone else do the wok for us so that we can pick their pockets.
It is typical of that kind of person to pick at words and turn into something they aren't. Condoleesa Rice is a decent, honorable, well educated and hard working woman...and notice that she is a member of the Conservative Party. If she had been run for office, I would have voted for her. She isn't ready to sell our nation down the road. You could take a leaf from her page.-

Condi Rice is a disgusting submissive weasel who has no noteworthy accomplishments whatsoever to show for her years working under Massa Bush than a pack of lies and a huge shoe collection. I so totally wish that she had been picked instead of Palin because McCain would lose based on the poison of her 9/11 lies alone. And I wouldn't be advising anyone to "take a leaf" from her pitiful and disgraceful life story, if I were you.-

Ah...I see. We were speaking, you and I, about the element I referred to. Condoleeza Rice hasn't betrayed her country, doesn't feel sorry for herself, is well educated and asks for nothing, so she isn't really black, right? I've heard that too. So how Mr. Powell? He wasn't any good to you guys either. How pathetic.

I think Colin Powell is a very honest and intelligent man with a lot of integrity. I'm just sorry he found out Bush and the current con cult are backstabbing shysters who will say or do anything to stay in power and to get their greasy hands on more oil. ;-(

You're obviously clueless regarding how shallow and ignorant your statements make you sound. Maybe black people should aspire to be more like Cindy McCain, huh? We should all work hard to inherit a fortune so that we can steal prescription drugs from our own charities to support our drug habits and then when discovered we can buy our way out of a prison sentence. Yes, that sounds very industrious. All Americans should shoot for the moon like Cindy did. ;-)
