What a poor white trash thing to say. Do you know how hurtful something like that is to a woman who is 47 and always wanted a child but never allowed to have one for you to say such a thoughtless hateful remark. I'm sure this 17 year old never intended for this to happen but unfortunately it happens even in the best of families. It always has, it always will. My own grandmother became an unwed mother at the age of 21 in a part mennonite family. At least they had more class about it than you. They accepted it and moved on but it was the community that made her life and that of my father's a living hell. She carried the scars to her grave and my father still carries the scars of insults like yours. Finally at the age of 45 she moved 3,000 miles away and began a new life. It was because of trash like you that I barely had a relationship with my grandmother because of the hurt she felt in her own community. How do you think this girl is feeling right now? Sure, what she did wasn't right, and I'm sure the family has been all through this but to be honest it's none of the country's damn business what this child does. It has NO bearing on her mother's ability to perform her duties to her state or to her country. It's hateful bigots like you who give this country a bad name, not 17 year old unwed mothers.

I'm just saying to people like that think that flashing a teen age mother in the eyes of the world and let them think that teenage pregancy is okay is going to set the stage that unprotected sex is okay. This is why we look at teenage pregnacy in a negative light. So for those who think that teenage pregancy is a postivie thing to stroll across the stage, then i want you to dish out $15,000 a month to pay in taxes for many of these teenage mothers will have to go on some type of welfare system to pay for childcare, doctors vistits, affordable housing and still susidized their utilities bills. Are you someone that shove that type of mother out from your income because if you can, then I can send you three hundred girls that could use your support entirely. If you couldn't have a baby, why not adopt one? There is no excuse for a woman to be childless if she doesn't want to be a parent. Women are adopting babies from all across the world. I'm only a biggot to you because you are not looking at the can of worms that could be open if every teenage girl in this country across the world thought it was okay to get pregant before walking across the stage to recieve (if they make it) their high school diploma. I believe their is a time and place for everything. So if you truly wanted a child, there are still children out there waiting to be adopted who are in need of a women (like yourself) who could love them as their own. Now take that and watch your language because this is still in the room.
