    "Criticize the Dems for excessive spending and taxes if you like but realize the last Democratic President left office with a surplus of nearly 600 Billion! At least they fund what they spend!"

      First, the first article you sight failed to explain why there was a surplus or what the consequences were. First, congress held spending down and Clinton refused to lower taxes. A surplus is created. The down side, the higher taxes caused business to pull out and that lead to the recession the media failed to note in Bill's last year in office. Trust me, my firm saw the handwriting on the wall and was fully prepared to pull out of the USA at that time. The good thing with Bush was his tax cuts that permitted a soft landing.

      On the fact check thing, it's down. What did it say? Bush is a jerk? Obama is the messiah? Biden wasn't a plagiarist after all?
