McCain has nothing to really offer. He is hoping by tugging on the heartstrings of America, people will look past his major shortcomings and vote not for him, but his VP choice.

Bush is such a hypocrite and McCain is an idiot. Paulin is rabbid with her anti-feminist stances and her lack of knowledge on the environment.
Have no idea how American people can even consider the Republic party as a choice. They are pro-fascist corporate and bought by the Israel lobby

There are some serious problems in the Republican party when they throw up the man who they said was too unstable to be Pres 8 years ago and cast him as a solid choice now while saying Obama lacks experience and toss in someone who couldnt govern a small town of 5000+ as a "solid" choice for VP. INcluding her view on sex education with her daughter standing there as proof they dont work.

McCain has his personal story. That is all he has!!!! He doesn't understand the economy, he can' lead this nation out of the muck filled ditch Bush put us in.

He can't do much except say, "I am a hero because I was a POW." I honor his fortitude and and give him well deserved honor for his surviving that hell, along with ALL the others who did as well!!!!

No to McCain and no to the beginnings of a terrorist reign that has been allowed under the Bush regime.

I thought the republicans would have been tired of being represented by idiots and racists, but it seems to be the norm!
McCain with his POW status, 9/11 and trying to evoke sympathy for a shrew that hates everyone and everything!

McSame=Noun, Verb, POW. This sympathy crap may have worked 8-years ago, but after two-terms of Bush/Cheney, the vast majority of Americans have become more cynical and their bullsh!t filters are now set on high.

Yeah, most of my friends from Nam are dead from multiple cancers related to agent orange.
McCain voted against helping them at every opportunity.

John McCain says he knows how terrible war is, so he is better prepared for Commander -in-Chief. Well lets see about that. He was a pilot on an aircraft carrier stationed 25 mile off the coast of Vietnam. He would fly over the country and drop bombs from a height of 2 miles on the little ants he saw below and then fly back to the carrier's deck. Well those little ants below were actually human beings. Children in school yards, people crossing bridges going to and from work to support their families, children going to and from school. You can not smell death from 2 miles in the air Mr. McCain. Back on the carrier life is very good. Hot food 24 hours a day, hot water for showers, clean clothes each day, 24 hour movies, TV, and other forms of entertainment and recreation. Compare that to the life of the soldiers on the ground in Vietnam. The only difference between life on an aircraft carrier and life in a New York apartment is life is more dangerous in New York. And then one day McCain cold starts his jet engine, creates a fire and drops his bombs which explode on the deck of the Forrestal and kills 125 American servicemen. Only problem was McCain was taken off the ship so fast he never got a chance to smell death even then.
Tell us some more war stories HERO.

You democrat dummies are making me sick! You keep talking about how McCain uses his POW nightmare to try to win over votes??? Well, what about your Osama Obama? His father left when he was just a wee one and he was raised by a single mother and his grandmother, blah, blah, blah. How many people have been raised by a single mother? How many people have been a tortured POW for YEARS? Go ahead and keep bashing McCain, but, when you lay your head down on your pillow tonight and not have to worry if you will be bombed or have to listen to bombs, etc, thank people like McCain and President Bush for keeping them over there and not here in the States! All of us are complaining about gas prices...well WE have to drill, drill, drill to try to at least make a temporary solution to the problem... Democrats are idiots! That's my story and I'm sticking to it...........................

McCain is a 26 year Do-nothing Senator who started off as a Corrupt Senator member of the Keating Five savings/Loan Fraud that cost Hard Working Americans Billions in Tax Dollars...

Is it fair to say, McCain's BAD Temper and unfortunate experience as a POW may have left him with some serious Mental disorders?? His wife Cindy Budwizer is also a confessed Drug User...

Of all the Experienced Qualified individuals in America, in continued Poor Judgment John McCain selects an Individual with No Qualifications, who wants to deny a Woman the right to choose an abortion even when Incest and/or Rape is involved. Palin if elected would try to reverse Row Vs Wade. Are you kidding me????
John McCain is just Playing Politics again, he could not be serious with his, wife cindy's and Palin's Baggage....

What a Shame the Republican Party could not offer decent respectable candidates for president and Vice President.

BJ bill and Hillary clinton two Immoral deceptive liar's would be a better choice...

You do know that illegal drug use has gone up 116% amongst senior citizens. Do you really want to have a bunch of druggies in the White House?

John is a real American hero and deserves to be our President at this time in our history, he payed his dues to our country and by opposing his own party.
Obama is still very young and in some sense naive about world we live in, he has always voted with Democracts or voted "present" not enough to get my vote.

Ok, let's analyze the "experience" of the candidates we have to choose from.

Months ago, Obama said he wants to pull our troops out of Iraq, a phased withdrawal, and let the Iraqis govern their own country. Bush/McCain ridiculed Obama's ideas for weeks. McCain even said he wants to keep our troops there for the next 100 yrs, if neccessary.
A few months later, Bush/McCain announced Iraq's government wants our troops to leave Iraq, and McCain flip flopped and announced he will work to bring our troops home. Which is what Obama had said months before McCain said it.

Months ago, Obama said he would hold diplomatic talks with Iran's Ahmedinejad, Bush & McCain ridiculed Obama. A few months later, McCain & Rice both, at separate occassions, said they would hold diplomatic talks with Iraq, with "pre conditions", whatever that means. I guess Palin is going to discuss home schooling and women's rights with Ahmedinejad, before holding "diplomatic talks?"

Obama said he would go after Bin Laden. McCain/Palin didn't mention BL.
Obama said he would stop the outsourcing of all of our jobs to foreign countries, McCain/Palin didn't say anything about the lack of jobs here.

I cound continue...but in any case I'll take Obama's judgment over McCain's "experience." I would also take Biden's experience over Palin's experience.
