I agree. However, I'd also like to draw people's attention to this poster's submission with VIDEO and TRANSCRIPT of the speech:

The poster was first past the post, and I don't think they've ever made the front page. -

McCain himself in his book states it was entirely his poor judgment that got him shot down. Chuck's statement is completely true and accurate. Though you may not see many Canadians in the BS undeclared wars (which simply shows intelligence not cowardice) of the last 60 years, they have shown themselves quite capable when threats are real.

Oh, I know that. I travelled the US quite extensively in my youth.

Great country, great people.
It’s been a while since I visited, but I remember that anyone would be hard pressed to find a nicer, more generous bunch of people. The problem is that lately, since the arrival of Bush and his ilk on the political scene, it seems that if you get more than two or three of them together at a time and discuss politics, religion or anything that smacks of socialism, their IQs drop about 50 points.
It’s time to get rid of the bible addled morons and step into the twenty-first century. Time to start spending your tax dollars on treating your citizens like family instead of on more ingenious ways to kill poor people of colour on the other side of the world.
Take a chance on Obama. Anything would be better than the republicans.

maybe you should READ McCains book dumbaZZ.
I'm also so tired of TURDS like you belittling our best and closet (geographically) allies. Canada is full of really smart people and it's really progressive country...THEY get along prety well.
Scraps? - since when did Canada get any aid from the US?
I suppose you don't like France either and you were the first putz to line up in the freedom fries line.
les you forget, without FRANCE we would N OT have our OWN independence.... -

“you ever fight for anything but scraps?”

No, but I can foresee a day when you and the rest of the US will be standing on our border with your hands out looking for water, energy resources and anything else you can get your hands on, because you’ve squandered all of your own.

The article touches on the psyche of a man that feels like his country lost a war and now he has to win this war in Iraq to complete his own personal legacy. It cites actual figures that contradict the theory that the surge is working. It provides maps of Baghdad that show how whole neighborhoods have been "ethnically cleansed".

So McCain has nothing to offer? Just what does Obama have to offer, besides the opportunity for all of us to pay higher taxes and his Marxist viewpoints?

Neither party has a worthwhile candidate at all. I don't know about anyone else but I would vote for my wallet. This country has steadily been going down the toilet long before King George. Ever wonder why neither party is able to get anything right?
The government in this so-called free country is made up of a bunch of sock puppets who do the bidding of the powerful elite. They are not here for "we the people". "We the people" are nothing more than the meal tickets that support these greedy scumbags with our labor and provide offspring to be used as pawns/cannon fodder in their little power games. Some things will NOT "change". -

That's a nobrainer. Barry has had to work hard for everything he has got. He has lived in the mean streets and still made it to Harvard and graduated well there.

McSame is the son of an admiral who was the son of an admiral. He has had a silver spoon all his life. He graduated 894 out of 899 in his class. He is an aldulterer and a liar with a poor memory. His lack of morals is evident in his stand on torture and campaign finance reform. He was for them before he was against them.-

OH please....he didn't live on the mean streets....he hasn't had to battle for anything...he went to Harvard after a muslim helped him get in and begged others to write letters of recommendation for him, he had money donated so he could go to Harvard.

He CHOSE to move to Chicago, because he knew that he could work his way up the Chicago Politial Machine...His stint as a state legislator certainly didn't help those who were stuck with Rezko the slumlord. His stint as a Senator hasn't helped anyone but himself. You want to talk about selfish, talk about Obama who used poor judgment regarding "friends" simply because they were monetarily desirable. What has he done for the American People other than write two books about himself? List his accomplishments...I dare you!-

If your lies were even true Meajen his performance there shows that Harvard was lucky to have him. You debunk your point,

Reread this you said he didn't have it hard then you went on to point out how he had to beg and scrape to get in...no one help you get into Harvard idiot you have to have two things Money or Brains and he didn't have money in your own admission He CHOSE to move to Chicago, because he knew that he could work his way up the Chicago Politial Machine...His stint as a state legislator certainly didn't help those who were stuck with Rezko the slumlord. Oh please Obama had no interest in politic until he started working as an organizer...he move to Chicago in search of himself. I hear the right talking about Obama and money all the time he did this for money and that for money...let me tell you fool if Obama was about Money he would have took that Harvard law degree to NY and make Millions or even stayed in Boston and do the same. But he went back to help the people but I can see how that face elude you because your Party is about anything but helping the American people!

More BS from McCain, I know a lot of POWs that I would not vote for, well two my Uncle and McCain...unlike McCain my unck just want health coverage which he isn't getting. These guys are the worse set of Americans ever and should not be trusted with our government again. They will make nice until they get into the white house and like bush all hell will be be put upon the American people again. I cant believe that they are people this foolish in our country, that would fall for this same trick for the 13th time in the last 60 years. May god help us and bless this nation!
Reply
After what they did McCain should not be this close to Obama, he should not even be mentioned in the same conversation as the presidency!
