        Neither facts, nor issues. I heard one of their spokesmen say on CNN that the people don't base their votes on issues but on character.

          That's obvious, look who they voted for last time and look at who they intend to vote for this time.

          They obviously have an affinity for a certain type of character. In Canada we have a term for that kind of character, we call them delusional, red-neck hicks.
