Actually, I haven't heard a word out of Biden, but I consider that a plus ...

...most people have heard a lot from Biden, so open your ears, or pull your head out of the sand/state of denial!

"Losing Iraq", the book, by a state department official is a great source of actual Biden comments where he has been on cue dissecting the Bush failures worldwide!

he's going to be good. REALLY embarrassingly good... : )

I think the press is afraid of her. Just like all the rest of the Democratic party. She will blow them away. All the questions are being answered, but no-one wants to hear or admit it.

I notice she is still stumping with NcSame. Is the RNC afraid to let them split up and champaign separately?? I get the feeling they are kind of afraid to let her wing it alone. Wonder why???

Has she said she'd stop torture. preemptive war, eavedropping on americans, close Gitmo? Nope!
Dumya told us the best thing he could do was to make sure americans had "jobs" in his state of the Union in 2002 . So why did he say outsourcing was good and let the greatest number of jobs disappear in america since the Great Depression?

Sarah has only given us the same repug lies we have heard ever since Newt's Contract With America lies!

because W has no control over what businesses do with their money.

ask yourself, if you owned a business. be truthful now. if you could double your bottom line by buying from China would you?

your answer (even if you don't care to admit it): yes. because its your damn money.

its easy to blame the pres for policies that only congress can change.

                    easy and wrong.

if you'd also care to pay attention, when things slow down, businesses get rid of deadwood employees. that's so the rest of the workforce get to keep their job.

lies huh? read an econ book and then realize how much the dems are stroking you.

Dumya has everything to do with funding federal oversight ,,, not saying that business can detemine fo eitself what ergonomic rules to follow, what environmentaal constraints to ignore, or what to work for for energy independance. Yes, Dumya has been clear that business only can control itself... ans we have bad loans, bad food, bad toys, bad drugs, energy dpeculators, you name it!

I do own a busines, but I run it with scruples!

Repug senatoial obstruction makes sure Dumya gets his way with Congress as well as his veto threats. Heck, one of Pelosi's first House approved bill si to give the medicare prescription Bill frmthe repugcongress the ability tonegotiate lower prices - it sits unacted upon due to Bush threat of veto and the repugs inteh senate willing to bakc the veto!

Deadwood? Yes the story of the women who was permanantly disabled after working 4 years in a Mississippi catfish cleaning facility forced on disabilty when the processing plant would do nothing to improve ergonomics, and only one trip a day to the bathroom too!. Forget what Enron, and Worldcom failures did for hard working Americans?

How about those less than minimum wage sweat shops in our territiores? All for that "Made In America" label! The ones in Siapan have forced prostitution and fornced abortion!

Read a book on ethics and realize that you have none! Check your conscience - its missing!

wipe the drool from your chin and answer the question.

if you could double your bottom line by buying from China, would you?

scruples, huh? if your choice is to go OUT of business or make money what would you do? what you seem to be saying is that you'd just go out of business.

its one thing for what you would do with your business, but who are you to tell someone else how to run their business?

read the prescription bill. read what it was supposed to accomplish and at who's expense. then get back to me.

the deadwood. the unproductive workers that you carry that don't pull their weight. THAT deadwood.
O is going to save the catfish butcher? no. you're counting on the wrong person. if its an ergonomics violation file a complaint with OSHA. that's what they are there for.

you've got some mixed up ideas as to who is responsible for all your problems....

ethics? i think you mean morality (there is a difference). nope. i'm fine.

maybe you'd be better off worrying about productivity in your business, that O is going to add taxes to, as he rapes the wealthy.

sure. take a look at Os tax plan, paying attention to his idea to double payroll FICA taxes. when your income stays the same but you take home less, that'll make you feel like you really know what you're talking about. matter of fact, i hope your business is a sole proprietorship where you get to pay that doubled FICA TWICE. you get whacked twice on FICA. by all means, support O. he's here from the Gov't and he's here to help.

Junior, I hate to tell you this, but without the GOP free trade policy that was pushed through by Reagan, and continues to this day, many of those jobs would still be here.
Keep in mind, that Bush was the one who wanted to remove all tariffs from imported goods. This way, American workers get to compete with Chinese labor scales.

crack that econ book. free trade benefits both sides. trade wars impoverish both sides.

many jobs that go away go away because they've become obsolete. when's the last time you bought a buggy whip? remember the B-17 that fought in WW2? that took a gymnasium of drafters and engineers. modern planes take a fraction of those numbers of people, thanks to efficiencies like computers. those jobs didn't go to China. they went away. domestic auto manufacturers could have made smaller more fuel efficient cars, but they insisted on making profitable big cars, now they are whipsawed by high fuel prices. they fire people to try and save the whole organization. those jobs didn't go to China. they went away. when McCain went to MI and told them those jobs weren't coming back, the workers all moaned. sure. you can beech at the car companies, because their business plan didn't include a plan B, but blaming Bush is the easy, ignorant and wrong thing to do.

here's a homework assignment for you. google up "comparative advantage." explain it in your own words. for extra credit, devise a strategy that makes your job impossible to export. for more extra credit, figure a way to have Gov't help AND hurt that strategy (hint: look at O's fiscal and tax policy for the way to HURT your proposed strategy) .

                            its due tomorrow.

All I heard out of Palin at the campaign stops with McCain were the same lines she gave in her speech. She sounds like someone pulls a string and the same sentence comes out over and over.

We have already lost the free press in America. The "press" has turned everything into OpEd pieces. If you want the news you have to parse it out of many different stories, before you might be able to figure out some semblance of the truth. Journalism is lost, and we watched it go, doing nothing to stop it.

Hey Mea, its your hero, Reagan, who vetoed the Truth In Telecomunications Act! Wonder why only the repugs oppose the Fairness Act? Naw, repugs prefer to have their deceit and lies go unchallenged on their networks/radio stations - outrage loves outrage and propigates itself!

ABC had a special about 2 years ago titled "The State of the Union" which had psycologists providing evidence that polarized news only further polarizes - like Dumya, the great divider/decider/war criminal!

"Conservatives Without Conscience" by the former legal counsel to Nixon, validated that today's evangelicals/right wingers fit the same psych profile as that developed after WW2 on the followers of Hitler! Go figure!

Right, Reagan vetoed it, and the democratic run congress couldn't override it, so who really is to blame?

"Well, when you actually show me real journalists, from a fair and unbiased media outlet, then she will take questions from the press."

Only when we show YOU "real journalists" will Palin take questions from the press? What are you, her campaign manager?

                              Really, how ludicrous.

You really think that the potentially next Vice President of the United States should remain a complete unknown to America outside of Alaska...which is about 98.2% of our country's population?

No, I think she should continue to do things the way she is doing it. Hitting the campaign trail, explaining her views and policy, and those of her running mate. I see no reason for her to pander to a press that has obviously picked their winner, and will do their best to make sure nothing bad is brought up about him. I see no reason for her to pander to a press that made it quite obvious that they didn't want a woman in this campaign, ie. what they did to Senator Clinton. Why should she give them ratings, when all they want to do is discredit and demean her.

So she should get special treatment and not have to face the same reporters the rest of the candidates dealt with?

The "rest of the candidates" have made their own decision to do whatever they want with the media, just as she has the right to her decision.

If the misogynistic media doesn't like it, find another woman to abuse, or maybe they would like to discuss Senator Clinton's pantsuits, or laugh, or voice. Or maybe they would like to go thru Mrs. McCain's closet and talk about her clothes some more. What a crock.

If these reporters would actually report, then maybe she would give them an interview...but since I don't see that happening anytime soon...well...there you go.

Yes, but will the media fail us like they did in questioning going into iraq? MAj Ritter, the former Marine UN weapons inspector was saying all along that Dumya was lying. Ambassador Joe Wilson was saying all along that Dumya was lying. The French said Colin Powell was lying at the UN.

I hope they learned their lesson from that time. I honestly think the press got caught up in the 'lets get even with those terrorists' mind set along with most of the country and were afraid of being branded terrorist loving traitors if they asked to many questions They let themselves get intimidated which is sacrilege for a free press. They seemed like they were afraid of getting the 'Dixie Chicks' treatment and losing advertisers. Surely they realize that once they start asking hard questions of the wrong people they will be deluged with screams of " liberal elitist press" from the right but they should stick to their principles this time and let them howl.

I understand that Palin said she took on Polar Bear with a knife. There is a picture of her with a knife in her mouth. Plus she said she is a black belt in karate and beat up her husband. Also she was over heard saying that the Party needed someone with 'a pair'.

I think Sarah Palin is afraid the Press is going to ask her about her sorry attack on wolves and bears. She has okayed the aerial shooting of wolves from helicopters. That sure doesn't look good with her pro life stand.

Personally, I think the reason that Palin hasn't been let out of her cage is because that C- student is having trouble remembering her lines. The puppeteers are nervous.

Dems nervous? Seriously? Not!! Honestly, we couldn't of asked for a better feeding frenzy. We have McCain who has alzheimers and a loose Palin. Watch out, put your seat belts on, it's going to get a little rough.

There goes that liberal media again. They are just trying to embarrass Sarah Plain with their lies. She has every reason to not want to feed it.

We need her. We need her to be President, not just Vice-President.

We need her to stand-up for family values; stand against the purveyors of filth and birth-control (I call it murder). Stop the sodomites and the baby killers. Fight the heathens and lead a crusade in the name of the Lord.

What kind of family values are you talking about? The kind where you preach one thing while your daughter does another?
If she's as squeaky clean as you all think, what's she afraid of?

Bristol Palin made a mistake. But out of that mistake comes life. A beautiful white child.

Interesting you felt compelled to note the child's color. Any particular reason for that?

The child will be white though not pure. The maternal grandfather is part Eskimo.

The point is that we need more white people. We are being over-run by blacks and people who cannot speak proper American.

At least Rosebud is speaking honestly of her views.

I hear plenty of her nonsense everyday but usually in code language. It has long been my belief that the Christian Right is seeking to establish a theocracy in America. Every move of Baby Bush has been in that direction but far more subtle.

It is strange but 20 years ago, I thought Reagan was the worst possible. Then came Baby Bush and I thought we had reached our limit. Now comes Sarah Palin! Oh my God!

Bush and now Palin. Taliban in America.
