You can't trust the lying network, the propaganda channel for the repugs, to give us the truth! Why do you think Cheney demands fox on any room he walks into?

Fox, the network that Reagan envisioned when he vetoed the Truth in Telecommunications Act! Why Repugs today oppose the Fairness Act too! -

Seems Fox News is trying to avoid the most serious charges against Palin. Her corruption has been well documented by now. Even more serious is her abuse of political power to carry out personal vendettas and to finance ugly religious fanatics.

Voting for Palin would be like voting for Osama Bin Laden.
Sarah Palin used AK tax dollars to fund dominionist churches
Over the past few days, I've done reporting on Sarah Palin's extensive dominionist connections--including the attempt to run her as a "stealth" dominionist candidate and her connections to some scary dominionist groups including not just "Joel's Army" folks but a far-right Christian Reconstructionist political party linked to domestic terrorism.

I know her husband is in oil, but not a big player... The real Bought and paid for aspect is this....
Reply
10% of her entire campaign finances running for lieutenant governor came from the head of VECO oil, his wife, and their friends just days after meeting one on one with him.. This is the same guy who bribed half of Alaska's republican party, and is the reason Ted Stevens is indicted, and multiple state GOP'ers are in jail...

Her position on creationism is bad enough
Reply
“I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum,”
What debate? Creationism is SCIENCE FICTION. Let's leave science in science class and science fiction in literature class. Is that too much to ask for?-

“Creation science” isn’t science. It is a naive, simplistic belief system.

Ineresting thing about evolutionists.
Reply
You know, there are people today who believe the earth is flat. They reject outright the notion that the earth is round. Such people do not stir the first shred of indignation in me, though I certainly do not agree with them.
Ever notice the complete inability of evolutionists to respond to creationism in any way other than complete, abject indignation? They marinate in their own indignation when confronted with creationism.
Very curious indeed.

An 8th myth ... She supported the bridge before she cancelled it.
Reply
The bridge legislation passed in 2005. She took office in December 2006 and cancelled it.
If you don't like her, don't vote for her, but quit trying to destroy her.
I don't like Joe Biden, so he won't get my vote.-

FTA:
The Alaska governor campaigned in 2006 on a build-the-bridge platform, telling Ketchikan residents she felt their pain when politicians called them "nowhere." They’re still feeling pain today in Ketchikan, over Palin’s subsequent decision to use the bridge funds for other projects - and over the timing of her announcement, which they say came in a pre-dawn press release that seemed aimed at national news deadlines.
---
Pandering at its finest.
She canceled the project and KEPT MY money.
It's only welfare when the money is for someone else in the Con Culture of Lies and Incompetence.

The Vice Chairman of the Alaska Independence Party (AIP) contradicts your comment. Here is a video of him, at the 2nd Secessionist Convention on October 5, 2007, talking about the AIP and Palin's connection to the AIP.

Palin's Handlers have already told the American Public that she would not be answering any questions. " It would not be in the GOP's best interest."
Reply
The ability of the religious right to direct who McCain picks as his VP candidate puts the question of McSames being a "maverick" as kind of moot.
Palin the would love to overturn the first Amendment and form a theocracy. But you are not allowed to question her on this aspect of her politics. The "faith candidate" for the GOP faithful.

This tells me NOTHING new. I knew that the photo was shopped, I knew she wasn't the grandmother of Trig, I knew she wasn't a Nazi. What's funny is they call the fact that she wants creationism taught in school a myth, and then went right on to say it is true. The same with the abstinence question. The recall was considered, so....that means she was almost recalled...am I wrong?

This is just more validation why regular fox viewers scored only 35% accuracy on basic facts in that PIPA Study, lowest of any regular network news viewers. PBS news was at 85%, a good reason why the repugs always want to stop funding PBS, defund the truth!

That's a good link. Thank you. Here is a little more about her attitude towards education by another resident of Wasilla.
Reply
When I graduated from Wasilla High School, Sarah Palin's alma mater, there were 1200 students, some fantastic teachers, and a strong Advanced Placement program. When Sarah Palin graduated, I doubt there were less than half that many students. Unfortunately, the last several years' budget cuts have hit WHS rather hard, and it's been shedding good teachers and AP classes, with no end in sight. Last I heard, the coordinated advanced learning program had been disbanded, for lack of funds. Wasilla High School used to turn out some amazing students, many of whom were friends of mine who went onto MIT, Harvard, Colgate, Tufts, and many other top universities. Now, WHS is a school in decline, even amidst an explosion in the local housing stock, and record state revenues from oil extraction. This decline began under Mayor Palin's watch as mayor, and is coming to its inevitable conclusion under her watch as governor.

The Repugs are trying to pull another rabbit out of their hat by blaming the "liberal" media for wanting to find out about Sarah Palin. We have a right to know unbiased information about who this woman is!From what I've learned her views are way too extremist and has been misrepresenting herself by ignoring issues. The truth is she wants creationism taught in school. She's a global warming denier who's suing the federal government to take polar bears off the endangered species list. She Ok'd aerial hunting of wolves and bears which is cruel and inhumane. Her speech at the RNC was polarizing and mean spirited. Her comments on community organizers was ignorant.Someone needs to remind Sarah Palin that Jesus was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a govenor

Besides, Dumya has the country cowed. Firing Shinskeki got the miliary in line. Firing the head of the US Civil Rights Commision when her bipartison commission found all those repug illegal voting operations in Florida in 2000, has kept the bureaucrats in line. Whistleblowers trashed like Joe Wilson and McClellan. CIA agents outed for revenge (the CIA refered the Plame case to the Bush justice department, so the offense occured). Kofi Anon trashed for accurately calling Dumya a war criminal. The list goes on and on...

hey, great sport for Cheney to shoot his friend and then to get his friend to apologize for it! Oh, if the Iraqis just apologized to us for all the collateral damage we have done them, needlessly... or afghan weddings or innocents in Pakistan killed by us bombs and missles, even a group of canadian solders trainng in an Asghan restricted area ignored by US pilots. I know, I used to work anti-fratricide issues for the Army under Clinton when there was an honest effort to identify and prevent harm to innocents...

Poor Dems. All loaded for Pawlenty, Huckabee, Romney, and maybe Hutchinson on the ouside. All ready, barrels loaded, attack dogs straining at their leashes to demolish McCain's pick right out of the gate.
Reply
Then along comes Palin.
Face it Dems...the reason you resort to faux indignation, meaningless metrics, and downright callous attacks, is because McCain completely outflanked, outclassed, outthought, and outmaneuvered Team Obama. Hundreds of hours of preparation to unleash bloody hell on his VP pick, and you got nothing to show for it but empty pizza boxes.
All those millions of union dollars stolen from worker paychecks, donated to Democrats, and you got nothing to show your union puppet masters but empty pizza boxes.
We can't even make this up. Simply priceless.-

Georgia50 sure hit the nail right on the head. Now what is Hilliary going to do? She was really hoping for 2012. I sure hope I live for the next four years to see Sarah Palin as our next president. I am 72 and never thought I would live to see this day.
