I don't think that Palin will draw any real votes that Clinton had to McCain. Palin stands against everything the Hillary stood for.

You know that and I know that.

But, why would America even consider voting for someone who doesn't have the smarts to be able to figure that one out?

Talk to some previous Hillary supporters who are now solidly behind Palin
This is a larger issue than political party and political ideology for them
They hated the way Hillary was treated by other Democrats and the media elite
They point to sexism and misogyny in their own party
Then what did they see - another woman treated the same way
These women are back fighting the "women's rights" issues they thought had been won
They see the women's lib leaders as out of touch - too committed to one political party and the not the rights of each individual woman
These women believe that each individual woman has the right to decide if they will work or stay home
When they saw the horrible treatment of Palin, they became absolutely furious
I'm hearing it from many of my friends - many registered Democrats
In fact one of them sent me a link to this story:
To counter Palin, Obama to dispatch female surrogates
Senator Barack Obama will increasingly lean on prominent Democratic women to undercut Governor Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain, dispatching Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Florida on Monday and creating a rapid-response team to deploy female surrogates to battleground states, Obama advisers said on Thursday.
With the McCain-Palin team courting undecided female voters, including some who backed Clinton in the Democratic primaries, Obama aides say they are counting on not only Clinton but also Democratic female governors to criticize their Alaskan counterpart, Palin — and, by extension, McCain — including Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas.
          http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/09/05/america/05d...
She added the following: "Obama can send any woman he choses to campaign for him. If they are gullible enough to think they can sway those of us who are furious at what was done to Hillary and is now being done to Palin, Obama needs to find new advisors
Obama is simply using Hillary because he knows if she doesn't campaign for him, the Democratic party will put pressure on her. How dare he use Hillary like this after the way he treated her?"

excuse me? But Hillary is not being "used".... is it not evident that she is a big enough girl to take care of herself... she supports him on her own.. no force needed, no force of her opinion is at hand. Give me a break. LOL
