I can sure understand your feelings because anything is biased towards the left after watching your favorite Foxy Snooze and reading your Washington Slimes. You have no concept of bias if you can say that.
Bias is what is left if the news source ignores objectivity. Wikipedia puts it this way:
"Bias is a term used to describe a tendency or preference towards a particular perspective, ideology or result, especially when the tendency interferes with the ability to be impartial, unprejudiced, or objective."
Now, go back to your news source and see if you can truly say it is objective. I will bet, if you have any intelligence at all, that you will begin to observe the bias that emanates from its reporting.
In fact, it is really difficult to be completely objective. That is the reason good news sources have editorial pages where they state their purpose.
Sure, AOL is biased, but the direction and degree that they are biased is all in the eyes of the beholder. I would say the opposite of what you have just stated.
