Looks like this lady changes her mind every time someone does something she doesn't like. No loss here.

It is correct to assume that intelligent women base their votes on issues rather than the gender of the candidates and that it was very condescending of McCain to think otherwise, but there is no surprise here.

But McCain must be right; otherwise, how in the world was Bush elected not once but twice?

I don't think that Palin will draw any real votes that Clinton had to McCain. Palin stands against everything the Hillary stood for.

You know that and I know that.

But, why would America even consider voting for someone who doesn't have the smarts to be able to figure that one out?

Talk to some previous Hillary supporters who are now solidly behind Palin
This is a larger issue than political party and political ideology for them
They hated the way Hillary was treated by other Democrats and the media elite
They point to sexism and misogyny in their own party
Then what did they see - another woman treated the same way
These women are back fighting the "women's rights" issues they thought had been won
They see the women's lib leaders as out of touch - too committed to one political party and the not the rights of each individual woman
These women believe that each individual woman has the right to decide if they will work or stay home
When they saw the horrible treatment of Palin, they became absolutely furious
I'm hearing it from many of my friends - many registered Democrats
In fact one of them sent me a link to this story:
To counter Palin, Obama to dispatch female surrogates
Senator Barack Obama will increasingly lean on prominent Democratic women to undercut Governor Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain, dispatching Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton to Florida on Monday and creating a rapid-response team to deploy female surrogates to battleground states, Obama advisers said on Thursday.
With the McCain-Palin team courting undecided female voters, including some who backed Clinton in the Democratic primaries, Obama aides say they are counting on not only Clinton but also Democratic female governors to criticize their Alaskan counterpart, Palin — and, by extension, McCain — including Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas.
                  http://www.iht.com/articles/2008/09/05/america/05d...
She added the following: "Obama can send any woman he choses to campaign for him. If they are gullible enough to think they can sway those of us who are furious at what was done to Hillary and is now being done to Palin, Obama needs to find new advisors
Obama is simply using Hillary because he knows if she doesn't campaign for him, the Democratic party will put pressure on her. How dare he use Hillary like this after the way he treated her?"

excuse me? But Hillary is not being "used".... is it not evident that she is a big enough girl to take care of herself... she supports him on her own.. no force needed, no force of her opinion is at hand. Give me a break. LOL

Any Clinton supporter who now supports McCain because of Palin is slapping Hillary in the face. They couldn't be further apart on every issue. Since Obama and Clinton were in agreement on 90 percent of everything, and you now think Obama-Biden is a Communist ticket, you were supporting a Communist -in your mind. Both are barely liberal. Please stay with McCain and the republicans. Democrats certainly don't need idiots like you, jumping from one cult of personality to another without even checking their stand on the issues. And they're a team for American alright. A team to give us 8 more years of hell for the working man and bliss for the rich. I supported Hillary and I can't even fathom supporting these people.

I really doubt that you were ever a Hillary supporter and you've always been a conservative who has no idea of the world. Get a life and continue to "help" McPain. Your type of help will definitely help the opponents.

                                seventhhe,

I can sure understand your feelings because anything is biased towards the left after watching your favorite Foxy Snooze and reading your Washington Slimes. You have no concept of bias if you can say that.

Bias is what is left if the news source ignores objectivity. Wikipedia puts it this way:
"Bias is a term used to describe a tendency or preference towards a particular perspective, ideology or result, especially when the tendency interferes with the ability to be impartial, unprejudiced, or objective."

Now, go back to your news source and see if you can truly say it is objective. I will bet, if you have any intelligence at all, that you will begin to observe the bias that emanates from its reporting.

In fact, it is really difficult to be completely objective. That is the reason good news sources have editorial pages where they state their purpose.

Sure, AOL is biased, but the direction and degree that they are biased is all in the eyes of the beholder. I would say the opposite of what you have just stated.

                                G:S.

I am voting for someone I know is an American, someone that knows our country. Why do people call him Bush, he is nothing like bush, they are two different people with two different minds,, Bushes being on the wrong side, Mccain being on top of it.

Why would we want someone in office that we truly know nothing about, all we know is what he wants us to know,he said he didn't know his dad. If that was true, why is he shown in a picture with him when he was boy, well over ten years old? No one has a way of checking his records, there are none (WHY). Because all the records were destroyed, knowing they would be looked into, if nothing is there we can't check them..

One thing that has been descovered, a woman was trying to board a flight, they wouldn't let her fly. They were scared she would have the baby on the plane. Four days later she was back with a new born and took a flight to Hawaii. ( obama's mom)

Obama's mom went to Canada, had fake Birth Records made for Obama, stating he was born in Hawaii, not his true birth place which was KENYA.

Anyone can write a book, a fiction or non-fiction. His is a fiction, Ask your self, if you wrote a book, wouldn't you make your self look good? or would want the world to think you were better that the person you are. What I am saying, the book is filled with lies.We need proof, without that, he can't be trusted.

Hillary is doing more harm that good, she wants him to lose, so she can run in 2012. When she speaks, you can tell her heart is not in it. If the turth was known, they hate each other, he is only using her ttying to get in office. Then he will toss her aside. If you feel you have to depend on someone to get you elected, you don,t need to be there. If you are not man enough to sell youself to the people, you need to go back in hiding.

                                    MCCAIN//PALIN 2008 All the way.

The change is not what you think, it is going to be a fatal change for the people in the USA.

Obama has class, kindness, TRUE concern.... he gets my vote. All the he said she said talk you all have to say is not going to change the minds of people who really want a better America... an America that we were built upon.... until it was changed by selfishness, one track minders, and he said she said people talking CRAP. Obama won't stoop that low because he is a man of character. He won't stoop... that's proven... and he will stand for America all the way and would not stoop for us either!!! I pray he wins. OBAMA-BIDEN for president. I wouldn't vote for dishonest, one track mind Paliin if you paid me... UNLIKE the republicans... seems that is all you are interested in. Sad

Thats what you think everybody wants to vote for obama because he would be the first black president. Obama doesn't talk about poor people in america,he just talk about middle class people. and you talk about Palin cause she has 5 kids. And what about obama who has 2 kids. If you talk about Palin than you are also talking about obama.

A press conference held by Carly Fiorina to introduce the Citizens for McCain Coalition, a group of Democrats and independents who plan to vote for John McCain in November. Six prominent Democrats joined Fiorina for the conference, including a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, two elected Democrats, and a former Clinton-era ambassador to OPEC. One by one, they explained how the campaign of Barack Obama disillusioned them and drove them to support McCain.

Nope. Obama is aggressive in wanting to move our country towards economic prosperity. Obama has great ideas like stopping the outsourcing of many of our jobs to foreign countries. He won't be another Carter, and he certainly won't be another war mongering Bush who destroyed our economy.

It doesn't matter what Obama wants to do in America. If he doesn't provide a real birth certificate, and someone else finds it first, even if it is after he was elected, he would have to step down, and Joe Biden would be the President. Obamas own Granny, and an aunt already admitted Obama was born in Kenya.

Reply!!! Now this is a real story, can anyone here give us proof that Barrack Hussien Obama was born a US Citizen on US Territory?

For me, it was hearing speaker after speaker recite the same old "stuff" (trickle-down, e.g.) at the GOP convention - all while pretending they hadn't been in charge for the last 8 years. It was a "transformative" week for me, "changing" me from NObama to NOMcCain. That doesn't make me a certain vote for Obama, but maybe Obama's best "hope" - at least for folks like me - is to shut up and let the Republicans jawbone themselves to defeat.

I am a Hillary supporter and believed her when she said we must now throw our support to Obama. I want this election to put an end to the stranglehold of the Far Right who've been running this country for the last eight years. I want to return to an America that once held the respect of the rest of the world. I intend to help this "community organizer" get the American people back on top of the priority list. No way, EVER, will I vote for Bomb Bomb Iran. The only similarity between Clinton and Palin are their genetalia, certainly not their politics.
