Obama: They Must Think Youre Stupid »
Posted By capj71 1 year, 2 months ago in NewsIn his sharpest criticism yet of John McCain and Sarah Palin, Barack Obama went after the idea that the Republicans represent change while campaigning in Terre Haute, IN today. "But, you know, when you've been taking all these earmarks when it's convenient, and then suddenly you're the champion anti-earmark person, that's not change."

Obama has been for change since the very beginning...it's been his tagline and has been on his logo for ages...
And now the Republicans are touting change, how they can bring about change...gettting rid of the old Washington with the "Maverick Twins"...
Just like in advertising, or in products like the iPod or iPhone...if it works well, is popular, eye-catching, then by all means, copy it...it might just work for you, too...
But I think the American people will see right thru this, and Obama's opponent will come to realize he lost the election in November because he didn't stick to his basic beliefs...

The 'everday joe' is convinced that he can tell a good person by the firmness of their handshake, the sincerity of their gaze as they smile.

The 'everyday joe' thinks somone who tells people what they want to hear, is a better leader than someone who tells their country what they don't want to hear.
The 'everyday joe' believes someone with a tear in their eye, wrapped in a flag and standing in front of a war memorial, is patriotic.
In other words the 'everday joe' is kinda dim.

Which brings up a point. McSame and Palin are representing the party that has been in power for the last eight years. Should their campaign theme not be something like.....Our party has brought you peace and prosperity for the last eight years and if you want to continue with the great policies that you have benefited from you will vote for us so we can continue. Instead they keep talking about "change" like there was something wrong with the last eight years.

The Repugnant Cons like to point out that like Palin's daughter, Obama's mother was a single mom.

Children born to a single mother of US Citizenship are US Citizens.
The lawsuit you're talking about is a waste of taxpayer dollars and a distraction from the real issues. Apparently McCain/Palin are right. Nearly half the American public IS stupid and tend to have a memory that goes back a few weeks at most.

the Republicans like to use the word massiah (sp?) as well as others to insult Obama supporters cause he's soooo popular...when we've had quite a few months (MORE THAN A YEAR) to get to know him......they call us stupid, blind among other things to degrade our sensibilities....and our support for the REAL candidate of change.
Sarah Palin FROM NOWHERE comes out and OVER NIGHT SHE is the real empty suite CELEBRITY and they jump behind her like a starving person at a free Vegas buffet.....
They don't even KNOW WHO SHE IS......yet SHE is supposed to be the real deal....
L O F'ing L man. Now who does that REALLY MAKE STUPID?

McCain promises us change against the system he has been a pillar of for 25 years.
After renouncing every 'maveric' position he has held.
And without renouncing a single policy of the present regime. He promises change -
while promising he will continue the war, the tax cuts and all the other policies that gave us our present declining nation.
It is stupid.
Unless it works, of course.
