    Why not?
    
    Two of the major channels that my local cable services offer are Detroit channels, so I’ve had them beamed into my living room for years. I’ve got nothing against the people from Detroit, they’re my digital neighbours.
    
    But, you can keep the mayor and all those pesky republicans.

        Politics and religion aside, you’ll find that Canadians and Americans aren’t all that much different. But, if you come anywhere, near my neck of the woods, between October and May, make sure to bring your woollies.

        White Stripes:
        really good 2-person band; from Detroit. When they became successful (alternative rock success ) they started a 'Detroit sound' movement to help other local bands.
