The problem with the DEMS is that we are playing nice and we let the GOPers dictate the way we will play. I know Obama cant go after these guys because he is black but there is no reason why Bidens and the clintons cant lambase them. We need to go on the attack expose these crooks and hypocrits for who they really are.

I'd take odds he'll get a roll in the hay in due course, or up against a petrol barrel on a polluted beach - perhaps the one that helps him to shed his mortal coil..and results in President Palin.
Hey - if I can imagine it don't you believe that SOMEONE is planning it?

What have you liberals been doing since Palin was announced. Attack her and her family with a lot of lies. Then there was a story where she accused the Obama/Biden Democrats of attacking her and the stroy on this site said she was lying since Obama or Biden didn't make the attacks. Silly libs could not read. I guess that the liberals don't understand that Obama/Biden Democrats means that those Democrats supporting Obama and Biden were the ones attacking her. They just could not read.
You were one of them. Still have problems with comprehension don't you.

Haven't people figured out yet that only Conservatives families are off limits? Chelsea has taken the hits for years. My personal favorite is this one from our good friend Rush Limbaugh:
Reply
"On his TV show, early in the Clinton administration, Limbaugh put up a picture of Socks, the White House cat, and asked, "Did you know there's a White House dog?" Then he put up a picture of Chelsea Clinton, who was 13 years old at the time and as far as I know had never done any harm to anyone."
From the fantastic Molly Ivins (rest in peace) article in Mother Jones:

The true justice is that Chelsea Clinton is now hotter than Sarah Palin. And without the five kids!
Reply
Limbaugh is pure sickness. He was ranting against McCain only a few months back. Now, because of his VP pick neither can do wrong.
The stupidity of the Right runs rampant. I saw a clip yesterday of Bush campaigning in SC in '00 stating that he was the candidate with the true "conservative" values. Three trillion of debt later (much of it borrowed from the Far East and OPEC) shouldn't we know better than to trust these GOP scoundrels?
Now who is making that claim? A man that voted with Bush 90% of the time and has ceded his opinion on the tax cuts for political expediency. And half the voters appear to be buying this!
A fiddler plays as if in Rome. I seriously worry about the future of this country. -

Amazing. He heard the laugh at something that he thought was not to be funny. He then turned and looked and said they had the wrong picture up. He also prophesied that people would say that he did it on purpose. He is a good prophet. He obviously knew you would tell that lie that he did it on purpose.

I think as DEMS we should pass this on on every BLOG let it be known that we want them out for what they have done to this country and we want it done by any means necessary if it means taking out the kid. If the shoes were on the other foot Biden or Obama's kid would be on suside watch by now! This Nice sh!t needs to stop ans NOW

Wow, a one liner that wasn't even funny is equivalent to the smarmy attack that has been going on for over a week. This whole article is a non-issue and not even a news article. Wow, I really miss the old Netscape days when things were more balanced and news worthy.

Never was and never will be! If you meant when there were more Bush lovers than not, that was several years ago and it wasn't fair or balanced then. And most of the news about Bush and his war were lies and not real news. We've learned so much since but you continue to want to live in that dream world you construct. -

The MSM still loves McCain more. Otherwise, why are none of the true facts coming out about him? When they hear Barack say that he's going clean up both houses, including corporate kickbacks, naturally the corporate media feels threatened. They'll let Hannity's voice be heard over the facts. They'll ignore Palin's pastor's hate filled speeches over Obama's pastor.
Reply
So do you guy REALLY think Obama is loved by the media? The lack of coverage about McSame Palin is the silently deafening proof that Obama is clearly the threat. -

OH,, but as i recall, repugs had a good laugh and a field day at Chelsea's expense..-

Any doubt that McSame is just another bad copy of an incompetent and right wing focused GOP fraud, one has only to look as his picks.

His financial adviser Phil Gramm.
More to the point may be Mr. Gramm's aggressive efforts when he was chairman of the Senate Banking Committee to deregulate the banking and financial services industry. That culminated in passage in 1999 of a sweeping financial services law that tore down the Depression-era Glass-Steagall wall separating regulated commercial banks from largely unregulated investment banks. And little regulation was put in to replace it.
And he points to the American public as a bunch of whiners. He's doing alright, as his oil company friends.
McSames pick of Palin, fawning to the likes of Rush Limburger and his gospel friends shows that he is just another Bush wanna-be. -

There soundbites, directly from those provided by Faux News, is aimed at the very easily fooled. The question at hand is does America want more G.W. Bush policy, loss of business, destruction of the American economy, oil price manipulation. Or has America had enough?

An election of McCain sends a clear signal to the GOP that the American public is OK with anything they wish to do to rape it. -

When will the DNC put out a SIMPLE ad saying:
Reply
NO MR. McSame. America is not a bunch of whiners, the people are hurting. You and your adviser Phil Gramm really don't care. The economy is not OK, and people who you and Gramm call whiners need better economic policies, not those of G. W. Bush.
A video showing the Phil Gramm we have all learned to hate would be a good preamble to the ad. -

Gramm was one of five co-sponsors of the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000[3]. One provision of the bill was referred to as the "Enron loophole" because Gramm drafted it in cooperation with lobbyists for Enron Corporation. Critics blame the provision for permitting the Enron scandal to occur.[4] At the time, Gramm's wife was on Enron's board of directors.
Reply
Later in his Senate career, Gramm spearheaded efforts to pass banking reform laws, including the landmark Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1999, which served to reduce government regulations in existence since the Great Depression separating banking, insurance and brokerage activities.
Years later, critics of Gramm point out that this same legislation may have been pivotal in encouraging the corporate practices that led to the 2008 mortgage crises in America.[5]
Between 1995 and 2000 Gramm, who was the chairman of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, received $1,000,914 in campaign contributions from the Securities & Investment industry.[6]
Later, as lobbyist for Swiss bank UBS, Gramm pressured congress ease it's restrictions on predatory lending tactics by mortgage brokers. For his efforts, Gramm received $750,000 from UBS in during a one year period starting in 2007.[7].
While advising the McCain campaign, Gramm was being paid by UBS to lobby Congress about the U.S. mortgage crisis. During this time, "the mortgage industry pressed Congress to roll back strong state rules that sought to stem the rise of predatory tactics used by lenders and brokers to place homeowners in high-cost mortgages."[11] According to Politico.com, Gramm had input on McCain's March 26, 2008 policy speech on the mortgage crisis.[11]
Gramm's comments immediately became a campaign issue. McCain's opponent, Senator Barack Obama, said, "America already has one Dr. Phil. We don't need another one when it comes to the economy. ... This economic downturn is not in your head."[13] McCain strongly denounced Gramm's comments.[14] Gramm later attempted to clarify his comment, explaining that he had used the word "whiners" to describe the nation's politicians rather than the public, stating "the whiners are the leaders."[15] In the same interview, Gramm stated, "I'm not going to retract any of it. Every word I said was true."[16] -

All Republicans are hypocrits and crybabies. They dish it out but can't take it. I especially like how McCain blames Obama for high oil prices. The GOP is full of crap. If any of them had half a brain the GOP would never win any elections. But they blindly follow their parties leaders, then have the nerve to blame all our problems on the Dems.
