You turds can pray to anyone you like! Just keep us and the government out of it. That was clearly our Founding Fathers belief. Sad that those who claim to love this country so much have so little idea of the principles upon which it was founded. The God these men in the majority believed in has little relation to the club wielding figure of condemnation followed by the evangelicals of today. Jefferson certainly would be a major figure of derision in these same churches. Afterall, he didn't believe in the divinity of Christ!

Go and reread your history. Read the original Kentucky and Tennessee constitutions where it made it a requirement for anybody working for the government to be a Christian.

What you spout is garbage that secular people want to believe and use a propaganda. It is absolutely not true. There was a handful of theists but the overwhelming majority of them were Christians. That is why the clause in the constitution is the establishment clause and not a separation clause.-

Or you can read the original American Constitution. Where 'God' language was intentionally left out and the anti-establishment clause was specifically put in for people like you.-

In Europe each country had an "established" religion. All others adhering to a different one were at least ridiculed and at worst subject to the government taking action to punish them. Many of those came here for freedom of religion. Pilgrims, Puritans, Quakers, etc. Some of the colonies started to do the same here. That was deemed hateful and the practice died down. This is the backdrop of which the Constitution was written. There was to be NO ESTABLISHED denomination to be put over the others. Everybody was to be free to practice their religion and not have a state established one try and have the others conform.
Is this too hard for you to understand?
