As a very well connected Democrat I find it quite odd that I have received not one of these kinds of emails about Palin. I have seen some awful Obama smear emails though.

The agenda is clear here. Your statement doesn't even need to be decoded. The rebuttal is that McCain/Palin are not Jesus! They have no relation to any such mythical figure. They will continue to enrich their base. And that is not the middle class. Palin will get run over by a steamroller if she even thinks she's going to sink anyone in Washington. Ted Stevens was like a walking dead moose by the time she got around to shooting at him. You have to look at where the Republicans interests lie, and that is clearly with Big Oil and Corporate America. Not with the average American. If you still believe in the trickle down effect you are sadly delusional.
Scared of Obama's tax policy? You shouldn't even flinch if you earn less than 150k as an individual and more than 250k as a family (the avg. household income is just under 45k!). Think we will be vulnerable to attack? We are right now! But thankfully it isn't easy for a bunch of goatherders to hatch such plans. 9/11 was years in the making. It will happen again. Only a matter of when. I look at this woman and I think what could happen in the event of such an attack. I don't ask that question about Obama.
Remeber Sarah is not running for President. That's John McCain! We can only hope this frenzy ends soon and a few issues actually get discussed between the presidential candidates. That should occur by Sept. 26th, the first debate. -

You may not remember this because Rove and Bush and their ilk have divided us so intensely, but we are on the same side. We are all Americans.
But you go ahead and push for your party to be in power. Even though they have been for the last 8 years and things have gone from bad to worse. God forbid that you give someone else a chance to try and do things differently. 80% of Americans feel that we are on the wrong path.

I don't think she's ready to be one heartbeat away from the presidency. She served as a mayor and on the town council of a town that is no bigger than the one I live in. She has only been Governor for 1.5 years. Republicans where saying that Tim Kaine of Virginia didn't have enough experience to be Obama's VP pick when he was being considered. He was the Mayor of Richmond Virginia before becoming Governor. Richmond is a city of more than 10 times the population of Wasilla. Virginia has many more citizens than Alaska. How is it the He was unqualified and she is?

Don't dismiss the fact that Sarah Palin is Commander of the Alaska National Guard– consider this.

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It's on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
As governor of Alaska , Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden's and certainly by far exceeds Obama's.
She's also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security's counterterrorism plans.
Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country's defense. Given Alaska 's proximity to Russia , she may have security clearances we don't even know about.
According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets.
She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.-

Seeing as how you've been asleep for awhile Mr. Winkle you probably don't know that the Cold War ended years ago and your so called 'front line of defense' was useless on 9/11. The year is 2008 Mr.Winkle, not 1980. All that being said, even IF the Cold War was still going on, I seriously doubt Putin would be nervously asking his generals "How the hell do we launch a surprise attack on the U.S with Sarah Palin in the way???"

A simple analysis of the relative experience levels of Sarah Palin compared to either Democratic candidate puts this to rest. For over the past decade, Sarah Palin has been involved in executive decision making at increasing levels of elected positions of public trust. Obama has no executive experience, Biden has no executive experience. During that time, Palin left off running an actual private business in Alaska, a commercial fishing business and was elected to her city council and then, in quick order to be Mayor of her home town. She did so well there that she was ultimately elected to be Governor of the State of Alaska, managing 17,000 personnel and a 9 billion dollar budget. Obama and Biden have absolutely no comparable experience at all, neither of them.

Thanks abnty for making the argument that a better teacher-student ratio makes for a better education. How many high school graduates a year we talking about here, a thousand. One teacher to about twenty or twenty five students is great. That's what us bomb throwing liberal Bolsheviks have been arguing for. It took one of Gods chosen conservatives to point it out.
