This is pretty disturbing, like the $125k a year she makes isn't enough already? she felt she had the right to charge tax payers for her to stay in her own house for more than half the days she has been in office?

Good going Aidenag. Keep the anti Palin stories coming. Bash her harder. Bash her religion and family. Bash everything she does. Keep the polls shifting toward the right. White women have shifted 20% and the religious right many of whom were thinking of staying home are now energized to vote. Way to go libs. Keep up the good work. Rant a lot and tell all your friends and neighbors.

Question. Where does the governor of a state live? Last I heard it was the capitol of the state. That is Juno. So she was visiting Wasilla away from the official home of the governor. Terrible that she should be on expenses when away from where she lives. But rant on some more. Keep the pressure going. The polls will slide some more away from poor little Barry. -

IT's clearly fraud to charge for nights spent in your own home. It's not an expense to stay in your own home. How is that an expense?

If an employee did this at a company they would be fired.
Oh, I get it, instead of spending money on a jet, Sarah decided to spend it on herself. IF she had a jet, it would be public accounting, but she wanted the discretion of private accounting to just make stuff up. -

The state legislators are in session for 60 days. Every governor before her spent this remainder of time at their home of choosing & was compensated for it. Juneau is landlocked, for the radicals hee knocking Palin that means the only way in or out of Juneau is by sea or air, very few legislators spend all their time there would you?

These dragons appearing in the fields dug up by the looney Moveon.org crowd are only solidifying Palin support, especially the silly ones like this one!

Plus, she never actually fired the chef she claimed at the RNC. Its like this woman doesn't know how to tell the truth about anything. I mean think about it. She's been in the spotlight for less than two weeks and how many lies have already been exposed about her? If she really was vetted and passed, can you imagine how bad the others were who weren't? lol

Are you talking about Barry and Michelle when they claimed they never heard racial things come out of his mouth. All the time their 2 daughters sat in church learning Black Nazi racism.

It's amazing how you cons always seem to interject the name Clinton into every subject. They have been out of the White House for over eight years now. I have the feeling that some time in the year 2525, if man is still alive (as the song goes) some right winger will start a comment with "Oh yea! Well what about Clinton!!

Oh how cleaver of an Obama supporter that probably hates the Clinton's to use them to attack the GOP side. How creative. Now before your mommy makes you leave your basement and take out the trash, please explain all of the problems your candidates really have.

Joey was busted for cheating and plagiarism several times. He's been really a do nothing rubber stamp for the last 20 years. Why should we want him as VP?
Barry is clearly a rubber stamp with 2 convicted felons and a racist for friends. On jobs, he was a community something or other. I think they said he was a trainer for Acorn. Is he part of the federal indictments in Milwaukee and Chicago? Seems during the training when they were copying death certificates for voter registries no one bothered to tell them not to file them all in alphabetical order. That plus when my father who has been dead since 1986 kept appearing on re-registering as a Democrat I was a little worried. He was a life member of the GOP and trust me, if he did come back, would never register as a dem. Long story short, we have about 40 people in Wisconsin going to trial soon. Too bad there isn't enough time to review all of the voting records.

This just goes to show how little you people know about Alaska and how it is run. The governor and every legislator in the state has a budget for travel and per diem. The people of Alaska understand this and have no problem with it.

That's correct. They helped make the laws. If they want to change them they can. This is just another non-story story. Rather than bashing our team, I'd really like to know why I should support an unqualified person for president and a liar for vice president. But I don't want a messiah speech. I want hard facts, I don't need the gospel of Hope and Change.

SOMEONE WHO IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ABUSE OF POWER HAS NO BUSINESS BEING A VP CANDIDATE. MCCAIN IS COO-COO for picking Palin. Her record is proving to be not only questionable but very disturbing. Her character is definitely a disqualification for her to be president because she's holding herself out to be one thing but her record is showing just the opposite. It only compounds the issue when she and Mccain refuses to have interviews with the media. I don't think that they should get any free media coverage until she do so. Stop covering her because she isn't the person she claims to be and the media is helping the Mccain/Palin campaign create an image that isn't true.

Jump in the lake. No one is under investigation. Did you not read the whole article. It made it clear she broke no laws. Didn't attend a racist church preaching hate. Didn't entertain terrorists in her home. Didn't associate with convicted felons. Actually had a job with some accountability.

As to helping, the media, at least the mainstream liberals are reporting only what the DNC is giving them. They're covering the talking points really well. I'm impressed they can't maintain the claims of balance and fairness while wearing and donating to the Obama camp.

It's still cheaper for Alaskans to give her travel to be at home in Wasilla when the capital is Juneau. Quite a distance from Wasilla. Give her a break, let her be at home with her family. Alaskans aren't complaining. Maybe she's worth it. I doubt she could afford the cost of the trips back and forth. Let's hope they don't elect a governor from Nome.

Well I've been here all night and yet to have any liberal actually explain why I should consider voting for Obama. I did have one but his reasons didn't make much sense. Unless ignorance is actually the answer. I'm signing off. I'll check back Wednesday if any of you actually has a good reason. I suspect you don't. It was the same when I asked about his energy plan, tax plan, or national security. Lots of DNC talking points but nothing to back it up.

What with Palin's tremendous popularity, Obama feels like he's been jilted by his formerly adoring media. What a woman! I will go to a campaign stop here in Las Vegas as soon as she comes here. Last time I did that was when George Wallace ran for President in the late 1960's. I shook his hand but voted for someone else. This time I vote for her (and McCain). Slamming her is like slamming Mother Teresa.

The way this woman is being protected is so insulting to the Hillary voters. The GOP (apparently lead by Karl Rover election success tactics) were all fiercely behind "W" when the pre-emptive strike in Iraq was initiated and even in 2004 election. Now he couldn't get arrested in Washington or anywhere. Bush and Chaney, the GOP's golden boys weren't even at the Republican Convention this year, unheard of for a sitting president to skip his own party's convention. Just goes to show you how far someone can fall; all these "stories" about Sarah Palin will eventually add up to something, then she will be shunned like Bush. And for McCain to think that disgruntled Hillary supporters would jump on his bandwagon, just because he selected a woman, who happens to represent everything Hillary is against.......he really underestimates the intelligence of her base. And also the way the GOP treated Bill and Hillary when he was in office; now Sarah nobody comes to center stage, and Republicans go "ga-ga" over this woman, who has not "paid her dues" in politics or government period, it's just appalling, hypocritical, and insulting. This just reeks of desperation for McCain. He is a war hero, and that is what he should stay. Let's honor his military service and sacrifice, but that does not render him Presidential. He may be from the "right" side of the political spectrum, but his judgement is clearly out of "left field".

What makes Obama presidential material? The fact that he has only spent 144 days or so as a Senator. Everyone is out to question Palins credentials but no one has even dared to ask Obama what makes him qualified. And as for Hillary's base, they are more likely to vote McCain/Palin then Obama/Biden, because they feel like they were sold out. Hillary received the popular vote, but the Dems wanted this no name from Chicago and they are paying for it right now.
