IT's clearly fraud to charge for nights spent in your own home. It's not an expense to stay in your own home. How is that an expense?

If an employee did this at a company they would be fired.

Oh, I get it, instead of spending money on a jet, Sarah decided to spend it on herself. IF she had a jet, it would be public accounting, but she wanted the discretion of private accounting to just make stuff up.

Not if they have a home office or more than a home office in their home. I had to buy a different home and move because my home was in a 100% residential area and home offices are restricted by the covenant. Kind of sucked but I like not living in the old neighborhood.

As a business owner, I'm sure she and her husband have a good tax attorney. On the jet comment, she sold the jet on Ebay days after getting in office.

Exactly. Just like the Bridge to Nowhere. She was totally for it til Ted Stevens and the rest of the corrupt Republicans told her she could keep that money and more if she dumped the BtN. She took the money.

If you are self employed or an employee, you cannot claim 312 days of per diem for time you spent at home. The IRS will come get you. Hope they come knocking at her door soon.
