Before the Democratic National Convention in late August, Obama held an 8 percentage point lead among white women voters, 50 percent to 42 percent, but after the Republican convention in early September, McCain was ahead by 12 points among white women, 53 percent to 41 percent, the poll found.

Did you hear the latest from Joe Biden? He says that Sarah Palin will have to defend her "extreme views" on climate change. Democrats just love to use that "extreme" word when describing opponents. Her views: she doesn't buy into this man-made global warming scheme and doesn't believe polar bears to be a threatened species (which they aren't).

Intelligent women that can think for themselves should love this woman.

Gee, I thought womens' rights were just a Liberal thing like the attack on Clarence Thomas was a Liberal thing showing that Libs don't care about minorities or women at all IF they are Conservative. Well, looks like I was wrong.

As a white woman with children, I think Palin is a walking disaster. Remember that McCain's first choice was Lieberman. What's that tell you? Obama/Biden '08

McCain has had many years with his Republican cohorts to make this country a better place, and if it was in him to do so – he would have done it. Him running for president again is just his egotism at work in overdrive. You will always be able to identify a tree by its fruit. The man does not bear good fruit. He lies, he’s very evasive, he lacks wise discernment, and he hasn’t worked to implement very much at all for middle and low-income people. He wants to consistently emphasize and present the effectiveness of a surge in a war that should have never been started. Now this country is reaping the ramifications of that war. Why didn’t he advise Bush better? He thought that he was going to send troops over there to “shock and awe” the Iraqis with military attacks and seize control of their oil fields that he thought would finance his mis-justification, but because he was wrong the Iraqis’ resilience has left him in “shock and awe.” You can't do wrong, and think it's going to make thing right. Now the Middle Easterns has raised the price of oil, therefore, adversely affecting America again. Now as a result of Bush’s wrong, Americans are giving out of gas along roadsides, people are siphoning gas from other people’s vehicles, and some gas stations don’t even have gas. Now compare America to when Bill Clinton was president, when more people became millionaires than ever before, and to Bush’s reign, which has drove the country into a recession by trying to fight two wars at one time, and people are suffering more than ever since 1929. Anyone who votes for McCain is either politically, racially, or mentally retarded. Intelligent people connect and support one another on the basis of idealism and soul connections, regardless of age or race, and they’re able to accomplish great and beautiful things.
McCain doesn’t understand much about economics, which he acknowledged on television, then proved it to be a reality when he announced on television less that 10 days ago that the economy was doing just fine. How can a politician that has been in politics as many years as McCain has not know anything about the economics of our country? Being that Bush’s and McCain’s lack of knowledge on how to govern a country has created a drastic economic downfall in this country, the last thing that this country needs is another president who is economically illiterate. The United States really can’t afford four more years of the same foolishness. You die-hard republicans should wake up and see that the value of the U.S. dollar has declined in value for all Americans. High gas and food prices, lack of employment because of the loss of U.S. jobs, widespread foreclosures, enormous interest rates on credit, deregulation, lack of police protection because of cutbacks, while billions of dollars are being sent to Iraq, and lack of healthcare affects all Americans. Your financial situation is no more secure than democrats, because the economic situations that the republicans has gotten America into affects "America."

Personally, I don't believe such a poll exists. But it's kind of tough to verify when the whole thing is 404.

If Sarah Palin were president we would already have economic recovery and plenty of jobs.Palin have executive experience and balanced the budget of Alaska as governor of Alaska. Palin is very national security- conscious because of our vast arsenal of offensive and defensive shield nuclear weapons and early warning systems in Alaska.Obama was a mere "community disorganizer" and a "vote present" senator in addition to his drug and nicotine addictions and being a muslim together with his military and economic incompetence which the liberal-biased media can't hide anymore because all the polls are now showing it. I think Obama may make a good lawyer defending the islamic fanatic terrorists at GITMO and in the meantime eat and sleep with these brother terrorists at GITMO.
