I think challenging a person's right to vote in a district in which their house has been foreclosed is legitimate. If you can prove that you do indeed live there, then your vote should count, but if you can't prove it, then well, you shouldn't be able to vote. I don't really see that this is a problem.

And yet, a person voting in a district/state where they don't live anymore is not cheating? Registering "dead" people is not cheating. Using other people's voter registration cards to caucus (in Texas) is not cheating...hmmm...but making someone prove they actually live in the district/state is somehow cheating?

This is the only way Republicans can "win" is to deny people the right to vote, by making up the rules and selecting people by race and name similarities who may be qualified to vote.

Interesting you never see this being done by Democrats to questions the Republicans who try to vote more than once. -

Foreclosure, also known as living in your house while trying to work out a new financing deal. Doesn't sound like someone living elsewhere trying to vote to me, unless we're going back to property owners only getting to vote. Shouldn't a current bill with the address on it be sufficient?

I plan to go to the polls with the ACLU's number on speed dial, along with the numbers of my local news outlets. Anyone who wants to challenge my right to vote is going to find themselves on TV answering a lot of pointed questions. I suggest you do the same and tell your friends likewise. Don't let this be like 2000 when voters were disenfranchised in Florida. -
