Actually most sane Republicans that have not been bamboozled by the "theocracy whackos" are rapidly abandoning the GOP. The secretive right wing groups presently running the GOP look about the same as the rich oligarchs that ran Germany in the 1920s. If Americans are stupid enough to fall for the state propaganda being peddled to keep them dumb and docile, the oligarchs will probably lose control again of the hate groups they have sown for their own political power - this time in the US.

The Council for National Policy , an ultra-secretive cabal that networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy forced McCain to choose Palin as the VP candidate.

    Because America seems to have an over abundance of ignorant people, people that take pride in being ignorant. The US is the only nation that I can think of that looks down on intellectuals and heaps praise on the nescient.
    
    This is true even of the “educated” Americans. A recent survey found that many Americans with college degrees, were unable to figure out how to balance their cheque books and were for all intents and purposes, functionally illiterate.
