Actually most sane Republicans that have not been bamboozled by the "theocracy whackos" are rapidly abandoning the GOP. The secretive right wing groups presently running the GOP look about the same as the rich oligarchs that ran Germany in the 1920s. If Americans are stupid enough to fall for the state propaganda being peddled to keep them dumb and docile, the oligarchs will probably lose control again of the hate groups they have sown for their own political power - this time in the US.
