I think Bush/Cheney knew about the attacks on 9/11 before it happened. Look how much money they made because of that one event. It gave unprecedented powers and they were able to get a foothold in Iraq with the second largest oil reserves. Even if Bush/Cheney goes out of power for years it will yield them millions. See Cheney don't wanted to try for the office. Why? He already got what he wanted. hehe...

Let me say it once more. The Bush administration had prior knowledge about what is going to happen on 9/11. They didn't do anything, because they were knowing what they can gain from it. Maybe when Obama gets into White House he will be able to shed some light on this issue. Or will he become yet another politician?

Which conspiracy seems more believable? 911 commission or controlled demo? Hopefully the truthers will continue to push this in the next administration. If the new 'cons' get into office by distracting the electorate, there will be another 4 years to sweep this dirt further under the rug.

This is plain stupid...if the government was actually behind the 9/11 attacks, don't ya think it would have taken at least a few years to get the attack all prepared. (many years that date far back to President Clinton's turn in office, Bush was only in office a few months before the attacks took place) Don't ya think there would be dozens and dozens of government people who would have known about the plan. Don't ya think if there were dozens of people involved or dozens knew about it, then many of those government people would be Democrat Bush haters. Don't you think those Bush haters would have spilled the beans on the Bush administration. There's simply no logic to it, anyone who does beleive the government was behind it are simply out of their minds... If you think about it, It's really more likely that the Clinton administration would have been behind it. The entire thing was all planned while Clinton was in office.

While I agree the 911 commission was hamstrung from the begining I simple can't believe the controlled demolition therory either. I don't believe the Bush administration planned or carried out the attacked either. However I think there is credible evidence that they deliberately ignored the warnings that a terrorist attack was imminent and they planned to use the attacks to project American military power into the ME via an Iraq invasion. In other words they were expecting truck bombs not planes as missiles.

I think it's a waste of time and energy to keep investigating this. Our country was attacked by terrorists, and all you want to do is point fingers at the administration. I would also feel the same way if a Democrat was in office at the time this happened.

Were we all so eager to refute the direct testimony and film evidence
from the people that actually saw it happen? Why did we latch on to

You can go to About.com and a million other sites to read every answer you want to your "unanswered questions" concerning 9/11. Also there is an excellent video available from the Discovery Channel that explains in detail how and why the buildings collapsed. It includes interviews with the firemen and building designer. Popular Mechanic also answered most of your questions in a now famous article. Google it.

I forget what they call that type of agent - his Russian adventure, then his return to the States, then pretending to be pro-Castro and handing out leaflets in New Orleans - but really working for the CIA. Oswald was made to be the patsy - and then Ruby had to go, and Tibbets as well.
I have a History Channel DVD called, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy".I don't buy into every theory advanced - but the government approved version of the event could not be further from the truth and they KNOW it.
I was 14 - and the whole family was in tears for weeks. We didn't question ANYTHING. I don't think we ever even contemplated our government being remotely capable of such deceit. -

There are just too many strange coincidences. There was the radar operator who was surprised at all of the security that showed up at his site for one time only. 911. Cheney took over NORAD for the first and last time on 911. Our fearless leaders knew in advance.

Why has the United States Department of Justice not charged Usama Bin Laden for 9/11? now, they charged him when he blew up our embassy in Africa in 98. Why the biggest terrorism act in history have they failed to officially charge him for? Why have they not convened a grand jury, presented their evidence, and got an indictment? Second: go to the Internet, go to the FBI website and go to the international list of top 10 terrorists. You will see Bin Laden there. bring his name up, and his picture. Amazingly, all the charges, the embassy of 98 and all this other stuff is all listed. But ironically nothing on 9/11. Nothing. Now, when the FBI was pressed as to why 9/11 wasn't included? Their response was we don't have enough evidence.

The real smoking gun of 9/11 was the "failure to act when credible threats were known." The real conspiracy is not the "Loose Change" concept with bombs and fake planes. A more PLAUSIBLE conspiracy would be the infiltration of Al Qaeda with a double agent who would steer the attacks against a country.

We have never found the purported "mastermind" behind the 9/11 attacks, Bin Laden. Why is that?
Even with a pervasive survaillance and tracking technology- revealed by Bob Woodward on 60 minutes- we have not found him.

I would say that a Life term of confinement and living out their days
with the awareness that the whole world KNOWS what they did to their own people - their country - and the untold misery they instigated around the globe would be a proper punishment. It would also restore some sense of order to our world. I do not believe that wrongs, such as these, can be righted - but there MUST be a reckoning.-

i don't subscribe to the theory that bush & co created the disasters on 9/11, but there certainly are some serious queries still unanswered. like why they didn't pay attention to the warnings, it is clear they received... the infamous memo and the "chatter" prior to the events.

There were other indicators that something was in the works that were ignored. The best example of these I can recall is reading about a large number of short positions being purchased on US Air and American airlines stock. Someone knew this was coming and planed on making a profit on it using our stock market.

Never has my mind allowed me to believe that this administration had a hand in planning the 9/11 attack. They're not stupid, and too many people would have to be involved. BUT; I DO believe that they deliberately ignored the risks and the warnings, knowing that it would open pandora's box for them if we were attacked, and they could follow through on the plans they'd held for decades,.....control of Middle Eastern oil. Wolfawitz, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc etc etc. ALL of them wanted 9/11 to happen, & allowed it to happen. I believe that with all my heart. And if Mcbush is elected, anything left will be buried so deep, the American people will never know the truth. They can't let Obama win for that reason.

Just like with 9/11 things are monitored and they make assumptions of what those things mean. They seldom get it 100% correct, but it appears that Clinton was pretty close, I still ask, why did he not act on that information and keep Bush from having to?
Could it be, he didn't want the responsibility? Could it be like many people want to claim about Bush complacent?
There are many scenarios we can look at, of course, since mine doesn’t match yours and others, you’ll believe something else and think I’m wrong. That’s why I love this country, diversity of thought and the right to have a heated debate over it. -

This reminded me of an article (as mentioned by agoodlibertarian) I had sent to me a number of years ago, basically saying there was a plan already in place to invade Iraq, and there was a need to a catalyst to do so. Note the date and those that signed it. Clinton would not go for it, so they found a puppet that would allow them to do so.

If you really wanted to know what happened and if the Bush Administration was behind 9/11. Look at the project for a new american century(pnac). This organization wanted the U.S. to invade Iraq in 1998. They wrote a letter to Clinton begging him to invade Iraq in January 1998, he would not do it. The pnac took matters into their own hands. It was easy , the 2000 elections was 2 years away

all they needed to start a war with Iraq was to get the right people in power(president, v.p etc)
and make up a reason.If you read their 2000 paper titled Rebuilding America's Defenses, you will find a reference to a new pearl harbor type attack to get the american people behind going to war. 9/11 was their pearl harbor type attack and of course they tried at first to blame Itaq for 9/11 when that failed they waited 6 months and when with weapons of mass destruction to invade Iraq. I do not know if this administration had anything to do with 9/11, but the people in power (look up members in the pnac and compare that to who was in the highest levels of the Bush adm.) you will clearly see(ofcourse not republicans-no common sense) what I am typing about. Know this They were warned 51 times about the terrorists even about using airplanes. To this day I have not found one piece of evidence where they tried to stop the terrorists. Also norad, cia ,the military and Cheney were doing war excersises that day : the
excersises terrorists hijacking U.S. airplanes. When the first warnings were sent to Norad they thought it was part of the excersises this is why there were no initial response. Seems pretty clear that something is wrong. A full investigation is needed but will probably never happen. It needs to be.
