The National Endowment for the Arts asks that you complete the following procedure if you wish government funding and approval:
Reply
1) You will first be required to fill out the standard full background check.
2) Only upon Homeland Security's full acceptance of your status as "American: Safe" will you be allowed to proceed to the testing phase.
3) Testing is given at an authorized center on computer and comprises a one hour section on general art history and, in your case, a one hour section on poetry mechanics and a one hour section on famous poets we think you should know.
4) If you pass all tests you will be permitted an interview with representatives of the NEA to determine if your art is sufficiently objectionable to achieve grant status.
The NEA thanks you for your interest in obtaining a grant for what you call "art".

Well, they pulled this post from the home page four hors before it's end time and replaced it with, i have no idea what, just that every post on the home page is currently over a day old and not only that, I get a 404 error page every time I try to put up a comment. Then, when I return my comment has vanished forcing me to type it again because if I try to fix the problem by pre-copying my comment, then pasting it into the Add A Comment field the over-zealous spam detector which is STILL totally FUBAR deletes it as spam.
