The NEA has plans for a future poem, even more expensive, and highly secret, though the first line "There once was a man from Nantucket" has been leaked.

Does my application have to be filled out in triplicate?
      Does it have to rhyme?
Will I get the $100 in cash or a savings bond?
If I get the cash I want to buy y_soitenly an ice cold But wiser!
      LOL

        1.3 Billion dollars!!!
Hell! I'd take $100 for this little gem!

There once was a girl named Anheuser
Who swore that no man could surprise her
        But Pabst took a chance
Found a Schlitz in her pants
And now she is sadder Budweiser

        Wasn't it:
        "My dog's got no nose."
        "How does he smell?"
        "Terrible!"

        Proceed dying.

$1.3B for poetry? Now THIS is a good use of my tax dollars. I'm certain that I saw poetry in the Constitution as a necessary function of the Federal government not covered by the rights of States.

I liked the iabmbic pentameter part.

But even with lipstick, a quatrain's still a quatrain.

Well, they pulled this post from the home page four hors before it's end time and replaced it with, i have no idea what, just that every post on the home page is currently over a day old and not only that, I get a 404 error page every time I try to put up a comment. Then, when I return my comment has vanished forcing me to type it again because if I try to fix the problem by pre-copying my comment, then pasting it into the Add A Comment field the over-zealous spam detector which is STILL totally FUBAR deletes it as spam.
              Here goes nothing.
