McCain has gained 5 points since the last Newsweek poll in July, and more importantly, has surpassed Obama in voter enthusiasm:

I hope the Dems keep up their attacks against Palin..........Bob Beckle's fears seem to have been justified. He stated that the vicious attacks against Sarah Palin would not resonate well with the American public and would come back and haunt the Democratic Party.........
