The article ends with John McCain saying the economy is sound but that he will never let this happen to America again. What is he talking about? Saying he cannot let these difficult times happen to us ever again. Exactly how will he do this? Does he think we are dumb and can be reasured by his reassuring platitude? And he says that Obama is full of it in his speeches. This from a man who admits he knows very little about the economy. A few promised regulations here and there. Enough already with promises made too late to matter we need real Change instead of more of the same!

    VOTE OBAMA / BIDEN !

Especially today, with Tina Fey's lookalike now saying she won't cooperate with Alaska's investigation into her firing of the public safety commissioner.

Sounds a lot like Bush now, doesn't she?

If only she tried to be more transparent...if she has nothing to hide, then why worry? And of course Obama's opponent's people are blaming Obama for this...LOL...it's her problem, let her fix it or suffer the consequences...

Any credibility she once had (and it was little) is disappearing fast, and Obama's opponent knows it...

I think she sounds more and more like Cheney, US, but I agree with your assessments.

So long as the Dem #1 is running against the Rep #2 the Dems are going to lose.

Literally, that’s what Obama has been doing for the last 3 weeks, and Obama’s losing on all fronts against Palin.

One poll on who is ready to be CNC day 1 McCain by a huge margined followed by Biden (remember him? Hint that’s a clue) in 3rd place was Palin and dead last by double digits was Obama.

          Good Job Dems!

krystaleahs post story "Exposed America broke" and states that both Reps and Dems at fault here?
WTF When Clinton left office, the federal budget was balanced with a possible surplus to look forward to. After Bush and his war in Iraq we are in debt to foreign countries for trillions and you have the audacity to blame the Dems. along with the Reps when the Reps had complete control of spending from 2001-2007? The Republican controlled congress gave Bush a blank check to spend as he wished and they ROBBED the American taxpayers.

The point is that federal spending needs to be paced and slowed. Both parties have increased federal spending by 700% since 1965. Both parties need to understand what's at stake here.

I don't know where you got the 700% from and I doubt it is in today's dollars because everything was 10 times cheaper in 1965 but it is true to a point. The problem is where the money is to be spent. Not to blame either side because their priories are in different areas but the federal deficit has traditionally been worse after the Republican presidents. Reagan signed a tax cut for the wealthy that was so great that he had to go back and increase the taxes yet he left office with the largest federal deficit in history. Sad part is that Bush will leave office with a new record that will take generations to pay off.

I've followed the economy for several years. Used to blog about the problems with it before the 2006 election. Who's in charge? The Senate still has enough Republican members to keep any Democratic plan from being brought forward. In addition, the presidential veto pen is the final threat. No way that the Dems are to blame in the same way as the Republicans who were in charge for most of the past 8 years both in the House, Senate and the White House. Trying to put upon or share the blame with the Dems is pretty laughable. My reality check leads to only one conclusion-- the economy is not going to be fixed by McCain/Palin. We need someone who cares about the middleclass and will bring real needed CHANGE.

                VOTE OBAMA / BIDEN !
