She sang at a Hollywood fundraiser for the Democratic presidential candidate last night.
The night's reception and dinner at Greystone Mansion cost $28,500 per person (250-300 attended) and was followed by an event at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel for 800 guests that featuring Streisand at $2,500 a ticket.
Stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Jodie Foster, Will Ferrell, Leonardo DiCaprio and Steven Spielberg attended. The event raised $9 million, according to AP.

Ok, first of all.. People need to quit making assumptions that in order to be a left wing supporter that you have no pride or commitment ot your religion. Second, The fact of the matter is that the typical republican household is made up of the type of woman who stays home to rear children, where the traditional make-up of a democratic family is a two income family. All the more reason for Roe v. Wade. No one is depriving you of the right to Not have an abortion but your side wants the government involved to prevent a woman's access. Another safe sex person. Every method of contraception fails. There is NO method to keep safe if you have an active sex life with multiple partners. Condoms fail. Depending on where you get your information condoms fail from a 1 in 10 to a 1 in 15 for normal usage. Consumer Reports has it as 1 in 15. That turns it into a game of chance. If you get your condom information from the right, of course you'll believe they will fail. They are 98% effective in preventing sperm from reaching the egg. It is humans who are responsible for learning the right ways to use them and one place you can learn is from a sex ed class, which you rightists refuse to support. And by the way, I've used condoms effectively for decades and have never produced an unwanted child.

We cannot help what our children do when they are old enough to date and they leave the house! We cannot watch them every minute. Yes, maybe it would be nice, but that is impossible. Keeping the baby is the right thing to do and not hiding it, like so many do. Look at the Kennedy clan and how they tried to hid what their kids did wrong or cover it up.They have had children to die from taking drugs. Have you even forgotten what Ted did when he let that young lady drowned and took time to come up with a cover story before he reported it so he would not get in trouble?

Consider this: The Obama Campaign and the liberal democrats have attacked Sarah Palin for, among other things, being from a small town, being a working mom, graduating from a little known regional college, having working/middle class roots, owning a gun, enjoying hunting and fishing, being religious, and having problems in her family. Why it just happens to be those small town, working class, working moms, who attend church and struggle trying to do right for their families. This contempt is why the democrats are going to lose an election that has all but been handed to them on a silver platter. Do they think these small town, working class, people are stupid?. Its clear to me that they do. Just look at going out to Hollywood and raising $9 million with Barbara Streisand. Nice match-up and connection with the folks.

Seens only the liberals follow what these so called stars have to say. Why do people think because they live in a fantasy world in front of the camera that their opinion means so much. Ok, first of all.. People need to quit making assumptions that in order to be a left wing supporter that you have no pride or commitment ot your religion. Second, The fact of the matter is that the typical republican household is made up of the type of woman who stays home to rear children, where the traditional make-up of a democratic family is a two income family. However the biggest blunder of all in your way of thinking is the simple truth that this religious rhetoric you are falling back on to support the belief that examples must be set in the white house to uphold these religious beliefs goes against everything our country was founded on. I love the right wingers who think they are the only ones who love this country,,,That is what we are so scared about...we LOVE THIS COUNTRY TOO.....My dad a Democrat was in the navy BEFORE pearl harbor and stayed in till in was over....he was on bombed ships....he died when I was three,,,my stepdad ALSO a Democrat was ALSO in the Navy for 6 years during WW2 before during and after,,,,he was on three ships that were sunk....we LOVE this country TOO and were taught by our parents about freedom of SPEECH so quit with that love of country as if you on the left own it!!
