This is devotion, which means we should pray. So, as I have done regularly with all my devotional submissions, I will do so now:

Lord Jesus Christ,
I thank you for coming to our world to save mankind from its sins. Without You, we truly have nothing, and I pray that the unbelievers will realize that before it is too late. Help them to see that you are still working today, and that we can truly experience Your presence anytime. I fail to see the logic of rejecting eternal life, and yet so many people have made that decision for themselves. They just don't get it.
Lord, please help those of us who do believe to not be distracted from our faith. We are Your body, and we have been brought into the family of God the Father because of that, because You were willing to pave the way. Help us to remember that the powers of the earth and the powers of darkness can never do anything to overcome us because we have assurance of salvation.
In Your holy name I pray,
Amen -

Supposing that everything is exactly as it should be in this time and in this place makes everything a lot more bearable during these troubled times.

That was great Brett, and Wednesday night prayer meeting was a good choice of time for the devotional.-

You know, I hadn't thought about that when I submitted this, but it's true that Wednesdays are a common meeting time for many Christians. Amazing how this would be the day I happen to read this.
