The rich have gotten even more wealthy by the socialistic redistribution of wealth. From tax breaks to subsidies Bush's and the Republican policies have tilted the scales so far to favor the rich at the expense of the poor and middle class. As of 2001 the top 10% of our population controlled 71% of America's wealth, while on the other hand, the bottom 40% owned less than 1% of the nation's wealth.

During the Bush administration from 2000-2008 that gap has widened even more to the extent that now 2% of our people control that 70% of America's wealth. And they didn't earn it but was given it. If they had earned their wealth then why is our economy in such dire straits?
