In the past few weeks, Obama has thrown so many false accusations against John McCain that just keeping track of them has become difficult. And these aren't innocent errors. They are deliberate distortions of the sort Obama has always said he reviles.

      LOL!!!!!

It appears as though my fellow Christian Conservatives have gone all 'Tharn ... like the rabbits in Watership Down' at a Democrat standing up to and giving right back to the Republican Smear Machine.

For instance ... a couple of weeks ago ... the Right was promoting a story that Barack Obama supported legislation that was designed to provide sex education for kindergarteners! This was complete perversion by Modern Republicans. I mean, just think how Morally Vacant and Perverted one has to be to even come up with this kind thing!

See, there's hard hitting Democratic campaign spin ... then there's the Utter Perversion of Right Wing Extremist campaign spin.

I think we can all be mature enough to agree that when it comes to outright vicious campaign tactics .... the RNC has no equal.

The reason they have no equal is because the Neo-Conservative led Republican party is inherently Morally Vacant.

Look ... there's even a NAME for the sick, rapacious, morally vacant campaign tactics of the Republicans .... it's called 'Swift-Boating'.

I think Republicans should be honest and admit this is a cornerstone of their political tactics.

All one has to do is look up GOPAC ... this is Newt Gingrich's road map to Republicans seeking political office against Democrats. Newt outlines all the words and phrases Republicans are to use over and over and over again .... words like 'Traitor', 'Coward', 'America-Hater' ....

      ..... see?

The Modern Republican Party is INHERENTLY Morally Vacant because that's how it was fashioned by the ARCHITECT of the Modern Republican party ---> Newt Gingrich ....

..... Newt Gingrich ... the ultimate hypocrite who was giving speeches about how Bill Clinton's adultery was ruining our nation .... while he himself was committing adultery.

Newt Gingrich acolytes are still the predominant members of the Republican Party in the House AND Senate.

If you are morally vacant .... and committed to lying .... and in favor of incompetence in government .... you are a supporter of The Modern Republican.

Were it only so easy to turn lies into truth. This article comes from the same place that the old taunt, “My dad is tougher than your dad”, comes from, petty, mean spirited ,wishful, thinking.

John McCain is an unrepentant, congenital, serial liar and by attempting to sluff those qualities off on his opponent, you become revealed as a less than intelligent partisan shill.

It is because of people like you and your refusal to accept the truth, that your nation teeters on the brink of disaster.

Pick a lie and McCain has supported it or not.

What McCain says now to garner votes, will not happen once he's elected. He'll switch back to the party line of Bush/Cheney once his in.

Obama's campaign also accused McCain of lying when McCain's campaign ran an ad saying that Obama supported sex education for kindergarteners. But the bill in question, which "Obama" supported in the Illinois state Senate, "did indeed change state law to allow sex education for kindergarteners."

Apparently you've just twisted that entire line of crap to fit your story... now, tell us exactly what said "sex education" was... oh wait, you can't, because you've never even read what it had to do with... so apparently you don't mind if your children are molested by people and they think it's normal. Is that what you're saying?

He's also gone back to the Democratic playbook with seniors on Social Security - scare them
Fearmonger in Florida: Obama Lies About Social Security
A new Obama ad characterizes the "Bush-McCain privatization plan" as "cutting Social Security Benefits in half." This is a falsehood sure to frighten seniors who rely on their Social Security checks. In truth, McCain does not propose to cut those checks at all.
Obama is also scaring seniors on the campaign trail, lying to them about privatization.

In Daytona Beach, Obama said that "if my opponent had his way, the millions of Floridians who rely on it would've had their Social Security tied up in the stock market this week." He referred to "elderly women" at risk of poverty, and said families would be scrambling to support "grandmothers and grandfathers."
That's not true. The plan proposed by President Bush and supported by McCain in 2005 would not have allowed anyone born before 1950 to invest any part of their Social Security taxes in private accounts. All current retirees would be covered by the same benefits they are now.

Why don't you look at what Daniel Patrick Moynihan said needed to be done to save Social Security
Unfortunately no one in his party listened to him
Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan (D-N.Y.) last week announced a plan to change Social Security for the better by cutting the payroll tax and letting Americans use the money for private retirement accounts—or for whatever else they want.
            http://www.aei.org/publications/pubID.8887/pub_det...

No one knew more about SS than Moynihan
Senators from both sides of the aisle believed he was the Senate expert on SS
Do you really think he was out to destroy SS??

Yet here he is violating his own professed standards. This is not the Barack Obama so many voters in New Hampshire and elsewhere thought they knew. But it is the real Barack Obama. For despite his rhetoric, he is in fact campaigning so dishonestly that even The Washington Post and The New York Times have called him on it. Which means that he is in practice no different from those regular politicians against whom his entire campaign has been built.

Who can really tell what's in the heart of Obama? He seems to be a tape recorder, telling you what his people think you will want to hear. I mean, he just talked tough about Iran lately, going completely against what he's said before. Who KNOWS what or HOW he'd be as President. He's all things for all people.

You make a good point Donys.

Yes, my fellow Christian Conservatives are really experiencing a reality disconnect now that they've had to fall in line and begrudgingly support Johnny Shapeshifter McCain.

I mean .... the very fundamentals of their support put them in contradiction to the foundation of their opposition of Bill Clinton 10 years before.

America's Christian Conservatives DEFINED their Hatred and Rejection of Clinton based upon his ADULTERY!!

                NOW LOOK!!

My fellow Christian Conservatives are having to support Johnny Shapeshifter McCain ... even though Johnny totally abandoned his wife AND his kids!!!

                Moral Values? Family Values?

Apparently, to Christian Conservatives .... these never meant anything at all. These were simply hollow campaign slogans.

Of course, this is why I say American Christian Conservatives are simply a hardline POLITICAL Movement ....

                Now think about that.

How devoid of Morality does one have to be to use RELIGION to further a hate-filled, small minded, pro-war, bigot-based, political philosophy?

I'd say .... pretty ding dang Morally Vacant.

                Respectfuly Jordan,
The filthy lie has been documented as being Obamas. See the link above in nostalgis post. Perhaps Obama 'thought' that may be the extent of what would be taught, but that is NOT what is in the bill he voted for which brings us to another problem if you want to give Obama the benefit of the doubt. Why would he vote yes to a bill he obviously didn't understand?
The more recent filthy lie is what he told Florida seniors, again to save space, reference nostalgias post 2 hours ago, good link to see for yourself.

                  Better post these again !

                  1. The Myth: McCain and Palin claim to be agents of change.

The Truth: In a desperate attempt to revive McCain's "maverick" reputation, the McCain campaign is trying to co-opt Obama's slogan. But "change" is a tough act to pull off when your record almost exactly matches the current president's. According to a study cited by the Huffington Post, John McCain voted in keeping with the president's positions 100 percent of the time in 2008 and 95 percent in 2007.

                  2. The Lie: To burnish Palin's rep as a down-to-earth, no-nonsense fighter of government waste, the campaign keeps bringing up the state-owned jet Palin put on eBay. Today McCain stated: "You know what I enjoyed the most? She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on eBay -- made a profit."

The Truth: As Politico points out, Palin did put the Alaska-owned plane on eBay. But she failed to sell it. Instead, the state had to go through a private broker to unload the jet and ended up losing money in the transaction. Or, the opposite of profit.

                  3. Flip-Flop: Offshore Drilling.

Original Position: In 1999, McCain made conservatives very unhappy by supporting a moratorium on offshore drilling.

Politically Expedient Position: McCain can't afford to make conservatives unhappy anymore; his campaign now depends on the rapturous love of a conservative base that is still suspicious of him from when he used to take intelligent positions. So he switched his position on offshore drilling. As Dana Milbank at the Washington Post writes, McCain recently argued that "those very same 'moratoria should be lifted' and proposed incentives for the states 'in the form of tangible financial rewards, if the states decide to lift those moratoriums.'"

                  4. The Lie: McCain and Palin have said up to 29 times and counting that Palin told Congress "'thanks but no thanks' on that Bridge to Nowhere."

The Truth: Palin strongly supported the Bridge to Nowhere and campaigned on the issue while running for governor of Alaska in 2006. It should also be noted that she never actually got the chance to tell Congress "no thanks," as Congress killed off the project, choosing instead to give a lump sum for all of Alaska's transportation projects, money that Palin gladly accepted.

                  5. The Lie: McCain keeps repeating, over and over and over again, that Obama's tax proposals will hurt the middle class.

The Truth: Obama's tax policy cuts taxes for people in the middle-income brackets, while his plan would increase taxes only for those with a family income above $250,000 and individuals who make more than $200,000. Not exactly the middle class.

McCain saw how being a real agent of change was working for OBAMA, so he stole the idea. Problem is, mcbush has a loooong history that proves he goes right along with the CONS ideology.

You can post it as much as you want, its still all lies.

                    1. The Huffington Post as a source?? ROFL. Ok. Can we cite the KKK as an accurate study??

                    2. It was a joke. Get a sense of humor you dull ignorant Canuck. Go worry about your own high taxes in Canada, we dont want the same here in the US.

                    3. Its not a flip flop if the situation changes. We didnt need offshore drilling in 99 or before 2006. Once gas goes over $4 a gallon, the situation has changed dramatically. Its not a flip flop if the FACTS have CHANGED.

                    4. Its not a lie. Palin did say NO to the bridge after the Congressional earmark were set. The 2006 transportation appropriations bill allowed Alaska to decide whether or not to move forward. Governor Murkowski said yes; Governor Palin said no. Get an education.

                    5. Thats BS and shows Democrats and Nobama's sheeple have no clue about economics. Do you realize that 70-80% of Americans are employed by small businesses?? Do you realize that most of them are earning over $250k?? Do you realize its based on GROSS, and not NET. Do you realize that ALL capital gains taxes affect EVERY American regardless of income level...most hard working Americans invest in stocks or have 401k.s??? And all Democrats ALWAYS raise taxes. You must be really naive to think ANY Democrat will cut the taxes on ANYONE, let alone on the middle class. Anyone individual making over $26k a year is considered in the Top 50%. Is that middle or upper class?? According to Obama, you are upper class. And yeah, the Top 50% pay for 97% of all taxes. So Obama isnt going to cut anyone;s taxes, and if you believe he will, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Democrats cant keep their grubby fingers off our tax money and stop their out of control spending. Last year, we spent $1.62 trillion for entitlement programs. $640 BILLION alone for welfare and medicaid. That more than pays for 6 years of the Iraq War. Our government is here for defense and infrastructure....not to give out paychecks to non working Americans.

                    6. The Lie: McCain falsely claims he received every award from every veterans organization.

The Truth: Despite saying it again and again, McCain is flat-out lying when he claims to have received the highest award from every veterans organization. As Think Progress reports:

He received a grade of D from the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America and a 20 percent vote rating from the Disabled Veterans of America; Vietnam Veterans of America noted McCain had "voted against us" in 15 "key votes."

As for the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars -- with whom McCain claims to have a "perfect voting record" -- both groups vigorously supported Sen. Jim Webb's (D-Va.) GI Bill that McCain tirelessly opposed.
Given McCain's grades at the Naval Academy, maybe he thinks 20 percent approval is actually really good.

                    7. Flip-Flop: Immigration Reform.

Original Position: McCain was once a proponent of an immigration plan that would combine securing the borders with a temporary worker program and a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Politically Expedient Position: With his poll numbers dipping and under attack from Republican opponents during the primaries, McCain switched his position on immigration. As the AP reports, instead of supporting broad immigration reform, McCain's first and foremost priority now is to secure the borders. All that other, less important stuff, could come ... whenever. Stated McCain: "I got the message. ... We will secure the borders first and then go on to other issues."

                    8. The Lie: An attack ad (ironically called "Fact Check") by the McCain campaign claimed that Factcheck.org, a nonpartisan election-accuracy watchdog, accused Obama of spreading misleading information about Sarah Palin.

The Truth: Factcheck.org did not attribute Internet rumors about Palin to the Obama campaign. The organization was in fact debunking information about Palin spread online though anonymous e-mails and Web posts.

                    9. The Lie: The very same attack ad seems to purposefully misquote an article in the Wall Street Journal. The ad states that the Obama campaign sent a team to Alaska to "dig dirt on Governor Palin."

The Truth: The article actually stated they were sent to "dig into her record and background." Also, as it turns out, the article was wrong to begin with. Obama did not send a team to Alaska to dig into anything. What are the chances McCain will pu
