Another case of the war on drugs not working. To get asthma medicine the other day I had to give my address, next what? A finger print? Which I had to do again at the DMV when I got married and changed my name. What, does your fingerprint change when you get married? Besides, if I was a drug dealer,or maker, I would just give a fake address, or pay cash. Whats the deal? Its not only humiliating, it is a waste of time and money, and it is violating our freedoms. And its ruining innocent people's lives, like the man in this article.

Yup. Because this is something that should be really important to the government. This war on drugs has run amok. Its put a massive number of Americans in prison who shouldn't be there and hasn't accomplished its goal. All its done is throw money into a hole and we aren't going to see it again.

I just got into a discussion here, at work, about the brewing of this beer. Half the people here say it's illegel to brew beer at home. I said that couldn't be true, that it's a hobby and they sell home brewing kits in the stores. They still said it's considered moonshine.

Ralph Nader has in his platform that we should let nonviolent drug offenders out of jail and go after the corporate criminals instead. I intend to vote for Obama, but if it looks certain that my vote won't count anyway, I will vote for Nader just because of his drug policies. Unfortunately, I always seem to live in places where Democratic candidates have the proverbial snowball's chance in hell. I wish that I lived in Minnesota so that I could vote for Al Franken for Senate. Lucky dogs!
