The story doesn't say that these executives did anything unethical, just that there was a labor dispute. It is possible that a company must lay off workers due to purely business issues.

But I agree with you. Truly unethical executives should be tried and convicted for their crimes (as Enron's CEO was). However, the punishment should never been death at the hands of a mob.-

To me, that sayd they were getting paid CRAP and if they argued for more money, they would be fired. Probably, that is exactly what triggered the bludgeoning. He started firing people because they were asking for more money. And with the BILLIONS of poor people there, the exec would have no problem hiring more people.
