What happens when an ordinary debtor who has pledged collateral for his debt can't pay? The creditor repossesses the collateral. What happens when a country that has pledged itself for its debts can't pay? One scenario for the repossession of the United States by its foreign and multinational creditors, with a suggestion how it might be enforced.
