Spadecaller. And don't forget some others in ( members of ) his campaign. Phil Gramm, his Co-Campaign chairman, and Financial adviser, is the same Phil Gramm who came up with a deregulation bill during the Reagan Administration that was finally passed in 1999. This deregulation let Financial concerns run wild and we now have the results in our laps. A McCain in the White House will most likely have Gramm as a Cabinet member running the Nations finances.

Then of course there's Goodyear, Lindner, etc. etc. -

McCain has netted more than $700,000 from the oil and gas industry since 1989.
Reply
In Congress, he has worked tirelessly to advance the interests of the oil industry. For example, McCain’s tax plan gives the top five oil companies $3.8 billion a year in tax breaks. McCain meanwhile has voted against reducing dependence on foreign oil, has twice rejected windfall profits tax for Big Oil, and has voted against taxing oil companies to provide a $100 rebate to consumers. If that were not enough, McCain also has used the energy crisis and the price of gas as an excuse to advocate offshore drilling.
Do you really think he cares about the price of gas at the pumps or is it the money and power that he receives as another oil company puppet? -

Governor Palin is an active promoter of Alaska's aerial hunting program whereby wolves and bears are shot from the air or chased by airplanes to the point of exhaustion before the pilot lands the plane and a gunner shoots the animals point blank.
Reply
Palin offered a $150 bounty for wolves to entice hunters to kill more wolves in certain parts of the state, with hunters having to present a wolf's foreleg to collect the bounty.
She actively opposed a ballot measure campaign seeking to end the aerial hunting of wolves by private hunters and approved a $400,000 state-funded campaign aimed at swaying people's votes on the issue.
She also introduced legislation to make it easier to kill wolves and bears and which would have also removed the aerial hunting initiative from the ballot and block the ability of citizens to vote on the issue.
The Board of Game, which she appoints, has approved the killing of black bear sows with cubs as part of the program and expanded the aerial control programs.
The media is currently looking into reports that state officials implementing one of the aerial wolf killing programs illegally killed five-week old wolf pups just outside their dens.
Palin is a strong supporter of drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, a vital wilderness area. It is home to hundreds of thousands of caribou who use the refuge as a calving ground, more than one million migratory birds, and countless other wildlife. It's the most important onshore denning habitat for female polar bears. Senator McCain himself has repeatedly voted to protect this pristine wilderness area. Palin is also a supporter of drilling in Bristol Bay and other offshore sites despite the risks to sensitive marine wildlife in the area, including the endangered polar bear and Beluga whale.
How can anyone support a maniac like this?-

Most hunters I know ( and I grew up in a huge hunting family and community) do not believe like Palin, Cheney and others do (thank God). They find this type of hunting disgusting and don't support it at all.
Reply
I posted something similar to this and got negged to high heaven. Palin sounds like the Buffalo hunters. It's disgusting to me. Her views on hunting are sick and twisted and are all about torture. How aerial hunting can still keep passing in AL is beyond me. How ANY HUNTER (Especially the Christian ones) can support the killing of Moms with babes and babes is beyond me.

"It may be different elsewhere. But democratic society- in it, the highest duty of the writer, the composer, the artist is to remain true to himself and to let the chips fall where they may." JFK at Amherst College, 10/26/63.
Only a fool or a bigoted partisan would conclude that I was less than honest in preparing this video. Those ignorant about art, the process of creating it, or using the various tools including Photoshop may think and believe whatever they want.-

I was also going to remark on the excellent Photoshop of the Bush McCain embrace layered in over the burning oil well. But I wouldn't call it dishonest, I'm not sure artistic juxtaposition, relying so much on the opinion of the artist, can even BE dishonest. Anyway, it was an interesting image, and I liked the video.
