September 23, 2008 - Change Puts Obama Up Slightly In Four Battlegrounds, Quinnipiac University/Wall Street Journal/Washingtonpost.Com Poll Finds ---
Reply
COLORADO: Obama 49 - McCain 45
MICHIGAN: Obama 48 - McCain 44
MINNESOTA: Obama 47 - McCain 45
WISCONSIN: Obama 49 - McCain 42
More voters in each state also would rather see Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Joseph Biden become President, even though voters in each state say Sen. McCain's selection of Gov. Sarah Palin as running mate is a good choice.-

Good polling info, I think. Good day for Obama with that particular pollster, particularly considering the Colorado numbers and the Michigan ones, too. Minnesota is closer then I'd like, but Obama is abandoning North Dakota to strengthen his support there.

Right on about Palin as W with a big W=Woman. the idea for McC. was bright but she isn't...she's a HEARTBEAT AWAY from us having a national nightmare if this incompetent, delusional person were EVER to even be near the W House. Cheney would seem tame by comparison...at least he had some brains (even if he used them as an evil genius).....

I find it hard to think that Palin can bounce back now the newness of her is gone and I think the GOP did here in. At some point they should have let her sit down and talk to reporters instead of just two in over a month.

Look all these polls are targeting likely voters and are ignoring all the people that has made the effort to register to vote...that is just dumb. I think Obama will win by a landslide if things continue to trend this way.
The race issue is a not really as big as the press wants you to think it is...people have made two mistakes in electing and reelecting bush the are well aware of this and will be very keen not to make the same mistake.
All this talk about Obama not being ready blows my mind, did anyone see the man on 60 MIN? I was shocked how on Monday they were very little talk at how much better he did that McCain on there.
I still think the Media knows better, however if they came out and say the race is not a race who would watch them really?-

Black - Interesting that you libs on here are boasting about the poll showing a slight increase for obama, but totally ignore another poll result in the same article!

The media have been disappointed they were slighted the chance to destroy Sara Paylin, even givng the hint of how they destroyed another vice president. She has enough governing savvy to stand on issues and enough charm to stand against the charm of Obama. Maybe, foreign ministers may be more gracious, especially since America is not very favored. Hopefully, she will find an opening of doors that were closed. She knows Alaska enough to help us push forward with oil drilling. Obama plays both the Muslim and Christian trump card as well as the race card. In his book, Audacity of Hope, he states 'I will stand with the Muslims should political winds shift in an ugly direction.'Islam dominates 57 nations and pushing hard in others. In his book, Dreams of My Father, he states,'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.' He has inner conflicts. Though we should not 'judge the color of the skin, but the content of the heart'. My family have mixed races and it is not an issue. We find much confusion in the character of his Chicago friends and his Anti Israel Arab fundraiser.(2000)Also, Obama funded, socialist cousin in Kenya who caused the country much distress and rioting last December, '07. This goes beyond gender, economics, race etc. Think through issues carefully, not gender or race. Our country's future is at stake. McCain has proven his American loyalty and Sara Paylin has proven her leadership abilities. Obama was community organizer. What and who does he bring to the table?

And McCain`s campaign is run by a bunch of fascist warmongers. The same people who ran the people who ran this country into the toilet over the last eight years.

Palin may look ok, but when she opens her mouth all that comes out is condescending redneck earmark elite hubris.
McCain`s backers are more pro-Israel than pro-America. That`s been the same problem with the current admin.
Why don`t you give the America first guy a chance?
