During an April 29, 2008 meeting with fourteen prominent African American community leaders in Alaska, Gov. Palin is reported to have said she didn' t have to hire any blacks in her administration and moreover, she didn' t intend to hire any blacks. The alleged statements, according to Gwen Alexander, president of the African American Historical Society of Alaska, followed the concerns voiced by the group over the lack of minorities hired into governmental positions. In a September 25, 2008 article for AlterNet.org by political analyst Earl Ofari Hutchinson, these charges of racial basis raise major red flags as to the choice of Gov. Palin for this nation' s next vice president … just a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Wow, now who sounds racist? Also this was when Palin was governor. So why are you even mentioning Wasilla, she was mayor of Wasilla. When you are a governor you govern the entire state. So no matter where these black people were from they could be hired.

As much as this should be offensive to many Americans, it will likely play in her FAVOR among Repugnant Cons, many of whom have said one of the main reasons they're not voting for Obama is because he's Black (Even though technically he's more white if you're a blood quantum idiot).
