Nebraska Father Abandons Nine Children at Hospital »
Posted By JamesMarcus 1 year, 3 months ago in NewsA Nebraska man left all nine of his children at the Creighton University Medical Center Wednesday night. The children are between 1 and 17 years old. The father will not be charged because of Nebraska's "Safe Haven" law, which states that any child under the age of 19 can be left at a hospital if he or she is in immediate danger.
This is the fourth case of teenage children being dropped off at a Nebraska hospital since the law went into effect in July. In the wake of such abandonments, Nebraska officials will try to clarify the law on Wednesday.
