The rise in global carbon dioxide emissions last year outpaced international researchers' most dire projections, according to figures being released today, as human-generated greenhouse gases continued to build up in the atmosphere despite international agreements and national policies aimed at curbing climate change.

    Unfortunately without a radical shift in what we do....the world environment will be doomed in less that 5years.
    All as one has to do is look at the amount of glacial melt, destruction of coral and the number of days which we have smog alerts.
    Beyond me that people keep telling me how much they love their kids but won't support a crackdown on polluters.
