    From the article: "one is the power that Paulson wants and the other is the sheer magnitude of the various bailouts." This is what bothers me about this. EVERYONE, and it's hard not to hear about this, is bothered by exactly the same thing.

    What bothers me the most: "Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency."

    This is insane.

      I have a take on the bailout too.
      Every lousy, greedy POLITICIAN, left and right, better do what it takes to represent you and me. Both sides of the aisle have agendas. Problem is---we are the ones in bankruptcy and foreclosure---not them. What will any of these politicians lose?

        The guy who wrote this article failed arithmetic: his addition is off by a few orders of magnitude.
